Hey Zeke,
What have you thought about Caporusso and Downing's play this year?

Petelevi:

On Louie Caporusso only seen him play a few games so far. I think he needs a full yr in Elmira to get ready for the AHL.

Jack Downing only seen a bit of him so far. On 1 play he did look a bit like Greening. Speed of the AHL is a big jump from college so takes time to get used to.

Also just being honest last yr neither of these players would have spent any time in Binghamton.

This yr KK is already beating the bushes looking for any help he can find. So both are filling in due to injury......

Thanks Zeke--I've only seen them play once. I remember reading a quote from KK that they both needed time in Elmira.

I think so as both were born in Lloydminster, ALTA. As Dziurzynski, is far from a common name shall we say...
+ I think Joy and or Grady mentioned that they were....

Ottawa should pick up Darian then they would have two (2)

Ice chips via Joy.....

PSBJoyOnTheSens Joy Lindsay

Today @ practice...

Sens are on the ice for practice at the BCVMA. Derek Grant sporting a full cage. No Mark Parrish (groin).

Parrish has taken the ice, but is not participating in drills, just skating alone around the neutral zone. #BSens.

BSens practice lines:
Cowick-Da Costa-Armstrong,
Dziurzynski-Cannone-Petersson,
Hoffman-Grant-Bartlett,
Gratchev-Hamilton-Lessard.

practice D pairs:
Borowiecki-Gryba,
Wiercioch-Schira,
Raymond-Godfrey.

top power play:
Da Costa-Grant-Parrish,
Wiercioch-Hoffman.
Will have to change if Parrish can't play tomorrow.

second power play:
Cannone-Dziurzynski-Petersson, Godfrey-Borowiecki.

Would have loved if Ottawa picked up Darian, but he was drafted by Phoenix in the fifth round in this past draft (his last year of draft eligibility). He's a fun player, great goal scorer, and big, strong and tough (hitting and fighting). Sounds like his brother but a much better goal scorer.

hi Zeke .... why is Grant wearing a full cage, what happened to him? What's your view on Grant, O'Brien, DZ & Hoffman this yr? Has Da Costa played any games yet? Thanks.

Aragorn:

On Grant no idea, only thing I can think of is he got hurt in practice this week!

Hmmm well on all four I think they suffered from having to step up into roles that were occupied by players who have moved on. Takes time........

Hoffman 22 4 7 11 --6
Seemed out of wack @ the start. Kid is skilled starting to come out of it......

Grant 15 3 6 9 ++1
Upper body injury shoulder as I recall, kept him out 2 weeks. I like his size pretty good skills, needs more time to develop down here.....

O'Brien 19 2 4 6 --2
Not playing up to snuff so far in a bit of a funk. Not sure if it is because he is looked to for some leadership this yr or not. Has good wheels or maybe I expect more from him than is there as he is 3rd yr pro now... + I liked him as he showed great improvment last yr....

DD 20 1 2 3 --1
I expected a bit more from DD this season. Pretty good size, needs to work on his skills a bit. David did play a good game last week. Always looked @ him as a dark horse same as I see Kramer.

Da Costa 1st game down in Binghamton is tonight.......

Based on some of the players twitter discussions this week. I'm going to take a guess that Godfrey wired a puck off Grant's face...

Seems like André Petersson scored twice tonight, so his point streak continues. Do you think he wil get a callup sometime this season? I would guess you have other options with more experience and size, but he sure is talented.

I think there's a chance he makes an appearance in the NHL this season. Not a sure thing though... I do think what is now appearing like what will be a successful transition to NA, he is really increasing his chances of becoming an NHL.

Patience though, lots of improvements in this guy but still very very small.

Petersson is just starting to show signs of scoring, chill people. He needs a solid year down in the AHL. Might get an injury call up.
