Time to let the ECHL thing go. It's just too big of a step down. That kind of stuff doesn't happen for a reason.
They can go all the way to the championship game on the 7th with their college team and still likely get in the final 3 games of the season (3 games in 3 nights). There's a Tuesday night game on the 10th, but that's a pretty quick turnaround.

If the teams are eliminated in the semi-finals on the 5th, that game on the 10 is probably realistic.

They probably have a shot at 9 games if they don't make it to Tampa.

One of Matej Stransky or Alex Theriau will be eliminated from the WHL playoffs between March 28th and April 4th.

You're probably right about the ECHL, but I'm just really disappointed in this Texas team. The AHL playoffs are a great learning experience for young guys. I just wish they could capture even a small part of that experience in Idaho once Texas' season is over.

Taylor Vause might be a man after piqued's heart. Apparently he enjoys playing around with photoshop.

Yeah I read about him on Icethetics helping his junior team with their jersey design. Pretty cool/unusual for an athlete.

Depending on where you live, it's about 3 hours to the city. 2:30ish to Norman.

The $49.99 Team Pass is the best deal. You can pay $3.99 for archived games so that would only work out to $47.88 for the last 12 games, but nothing will be live. Also, with the Team Pass, you get the live games as well as access to all the archived games. The 10 game package is a ripoff unless you want to watch more than just Texas Stars hockey.

Yesterday's games are already archived today so it's not a long wait. I'm thinking about only buying Campbell's archived games, but IDK for sure

That's right ... it's $6.99. I'm just not planning on watching tonight since Miami and Michigan play back to back on ESPNU. I wasn't sure if people were aware of the cheaper archived option.

Texas' next game is in Toronto on Sunday. With Smith eliminated so soon .... I guess it wouldn't be impossible for him to join the team in Toronto. Plus .... being from that area, it'd be a pretty fantastic place for a pro debut.

A Texas Stars fan pointed out (acknowledged by 100 Degree hockey - Texas Stars blogger), Austin Smith was wearing "A. Smith" on the back of his jersey which is unnecessary unless another Smith is coming.

Oh so I am guessing Raycroft is the odd man out. He won't be getting anymore starts, maybe just one, because hes not on the team next year anyway.

Word is that Jack Campbell will be getting a lot of starts for the Texas Stars the rest of the season.

Just about to post that. Surprised they are doing the right thing and emphasizing development to end the season. Looks like Dallas and Austin are on the same page.

11 games left for Texas, I would guess JC starts about 8?
