I noticed for the first time that Godard was a scratch for Texas tonight so I asked the Texas Stars blogger if he was hurt. According to him, he's likely a healthy scratch. He also mentioned that Godard has been a healthy scratch many times this year.

If he can't stay in an AHL lineup, I guess the chances of seeing him in Dallas aren't great.

Don't AHL teams rarely carry a 4th line? Kind of what he would be on, I mean. If so, that doesn't really surprise me.

Could someone tell me how Hubert Labrie is doing with the Texas Stars please?

Any chance he decides to go back to junior come christmas?

Labrie is doing fine for CP. He's been in a competition with Jace Coyle for a regular spot in the lineup, one that he appears to have (predictably) won. He's not going back to juniors.

Must've been old school or something. I had a coach who played in the AHL for a long time, and he said fighting for ice time was that much harder due to the lack of a 4th line. Not that they don't have one, they only get a couple shifts per game (if they're lucky) and typically only to fight or something.

But that was like, in the 70's or 80's, so a lot's probably changed.

Haven't watched/listened to much of the ECHL, but I know the Central HL only has 3 forward lines. Am assuming the ECHL is the same.

This should probably be mentioned:

Fraser scored 2 goals last night bringing his total to 16. That's 2 off the pace for the AHL lead. As a rookie. That's kind of a big deal. All the kid does is score goals...

What happened to his recent succes being chalked up to him being one of the older kids in juniors

Raycroft stopped 27 of 30 shots, and let in all three shootout attempts. Texas Star lose 4-3

Hey, come on. He's 62nd overall in AHL rookie scoring. He's working his way up.

Dude is going to be a legit 20+ goal scorer in the NHL. There's a reason I tried to vote him in around #8 on our prospect poll!

Just pretend we drafted Fraser instead of Glennie, it makes the pain better.

Maybe we should direct Glennie to these boards to let him know our opinions of him and try to motivate him?
