This actually happened? A Thrashers fan has become an NYR fan? Thats pretty funny.

Edgeworth was actually a Leaf fan, but got completely fed up with the fanbase and team. He asked to be entered into the draft, and I had had prior conversations with him before. It was an easy pick to make.

Welcome. Being here is great. We're Stanley Cup bound in February, lottery bound in early March, Stanley Cup bound in mid-March and get the 5-8 seed every year!

So exciting.

But on a serious note this team has managed to rebuild while maintaining competitiveness over the last 2 seasons. You're joining at the right time as most of us think this team will be Finals-bound within 3 years. Try to stick around!

Wrong we're Stanley Cup bound all of October or November and Dubinsky will look like God for like 10 straight games, then he'll disappear.

Will do! o: I am excited. Love the hard working ethic the team seems to have.

as others have said, welcome to the asylum. I don't talk much which is why my post count isn't ridiculous and nobody knows who I am. When I do, I try to make well thought out arguments... unless it's 3-4am EST because that means I'm either getting my body ready to work the next night (work midnight shift) or because I'm drunk.

My favorite prospect is Jesper Fasth. He's awesome and I can't wait for 2-3 years when he comes over. Hopefully he'll be in Hartford soon since I live here.

Also, I'm in the seemingly very small group of fans that want to give Wolski a full year in NY because he's probably better than any other option we're going to have.

Yeah seems like NYR needs top wingers outside of the need for a #1C? Wolski just seems to be on the decline though..

I'm not advocating that he is a long term solution but the kid is 25. When you add in that his replacement (unless it's a kid who comes out and surprises) will probably cost about the same. Keeping him in the last year of his contract gives our kids (Kreider, Grachev, Thomas, Fasth?) another year to develop.

**** Wolski. We could buy him out with only a 400k cap hit. Just get him the **** out of NY.

They definitely need a top 6 winger along with their need for a #1C. Its kind of a tweener time right now as we're kinda waiting on Kreider/Thomas/Grachev to see if they can fill that need, but its definitely a hole on the big club right now

Haha, that is awesome. I'll take a Leafs fan, that's cool.

Welcome man, the summer is slow, you know this, but hope you enjoy the Rangers board come fall.

Do you live in Ga? If so that would make three of us here as Rangers fans living in GA. Myself, Inferno and you.

Welcome. So does that mean you're a Ranger fan now? I still don't understand this dispersal draft.

Lost a bet with a buddy during a Thrashers game (Giguere got put into the game in the third period, he bet Giguere would crap the bed despite the Leafs being up 2, I betted against him. Former Maple Leaf Tim Stapleton scores, Thrashers win, I had to go cheer for them)

So I thought it'd be fun to go join the draft since technically I was still a "thrashers fan" (also have you been to the Maple Leafs board? Tad humiliating ) ended up with NYR. :3

Actually live in Florida, originally from Toronto but moved here in the teens. Still I'm committed to hangin' about with the Rangers fans and cheerin' on the blueshirts. o: I'm not some kinda BACKER-OUTER of these things.
