Vancouver fans are blaming the refs.

Most surprising stat of the finals:

Vancouver 1/22 on the PP; Boston 3/17

You can't lose 4-0 and blame the refs.

I thought that stat Emrick rattled off during the game was crazy.... Boston is +24 5 on 5 in the playoffs. Vancouver is -2. Shut down Vancouver's PP = win.

Luongo is becoming a sieve at the worst possible time, and Vancouver's D is a hot mess right now. Bad, bad trouble.

Him and Brad Marchand are effectively trolling the Canucks. It's awesome.

Im disappointed that he wasnt near the top to start with. Someone who paid serious dues in random leagues, before getting his chance, is now going to be a 2 time Vezina winner, and is so awesome to watch with his style of 'do whatever it takes to keep the puck out of the net'

I dunno, it used to work for Billy Smith. I think the various Bruins taking runs at and liberties with Burrows is starting to get in his head.

Yeah, I hate the Nucks, but Ehrhoff did the smart thing turtling there.

I didn't understand why the announcers got upset at (I think it was) Brad Marchand for low bridging Sedin. Is that an illegal play when an opponent comes to check you after the ref already blew the whistle? I thought he was just trying to protect himself.

Do you know what this Vancouver team reminds me of? The 1993 Los Angeles Kings!

It's kinda sad how Vancouver went from being a legit tough team last year with Hordichuk, Rypien and O'Brien to replacing them with Torres, Oreskovich, and a bum like Lapierre. The best quote came today from enforcer Krys Barch would said....

http://espn.go.com/blog/dallas/stars...ierre-taunting

Add that to this quote from Clowe...geez...

http://www.mercurynews.com/sharks/ci...nclick_check=1

Lapierre is a real bum. Torres is a marked man for next year and Ehrhoff nearly crapped himself when McQuaid approached him.

Oh yeah this is some good reading, Canucks hated and loosing.

I'm so happy ...maybe happy is wrong to say but it is good to see that there are people in the hockey world that are showing and telling what they feel about Canucks way to play hockey and those people are not the common day Joe's they are reporters, players and etc, etc with the opportunity to reach out to the big masses and at the same time to be sources with credebility.

Canucks are disgusting.

"Of course [Luongo] can (recover)," Henrik Sedin said. "He's been so good for us. Thomas has been struggling throughout the playoffs, but if you're a top goalie like they are, they're going to bounce back. We have a lot of trust in (Luongo)."

"I think we're giving [Thomas] too much respect, to be honest," sniffed Canucks defenseman Kevin Bieska. "We're not shooting enough pucks at him.

"He's leaky. You've seen pucks go through all playoffs long. We've got to make his life a little more difficult."

Man, what's in the water in Vancouver? Delusional team members fit right in though with the Vancouver Canucks hockey bubble....

Looks like Thomas is in their heads.

Loved the physicality of the third period. You can see the Nucks can't really compete against such a physical team on the loose pucks when they're looking over their shoulders. I'm glad the refs started clamping down on the cheap slashes that the Nucks have been pulling. About friggin time.

That game was an absolute joy to watch. It's also wonderful to see that the rest of the world has taken notice of what a dirty team the Canucks are. All the hate for them coming from journalists and players is amazing. I hope the Bruins continue to serve out that cosmic, asskicking justice.

What amazes me about the hatred towards the Canucks isn't only with the team, but its fanbase as well. Both are arrogant, overbearing and obnoxious jerks, they act as if they are entitled to success. Victory from Boston would be bittersweet.

Don't even get me started on that fanbase. That fact that the seem to think that both losses were do to "lucky bounces" is hilarious. I've never seen 12 lucky bounces over two games before.

As thoroughly entertaining as the Boston games have been, Boston still is under the gun. No team is in trouble until they lose a game at home. Vancouver can't be all that concerned yet... the concern would be justifiable if they drop game 5.

The issues for Vancouver are their defense and their 5 on 5 play. They're down to essentially 5 defenseman since their new #6 that was put in last game looked terrible and exposed Luongo badly. They've got to get that sorted out in a hurry. The 5 on 5 +- disparity between the two teams during the playoffs is so lopsided it's ridiculous - Boston with a huge advantage 5 on 5.

If I'm Vancouver, I'd be worried. The 2 games they have won are essentially OT games. They have scored 5 goals in 4 games. That isn't exactly encouraing. Then throw on top of that their antics have only inflamed the Bruins and got themselves distracted in the process. Yeah, there is plenty for them to be concerned with.

I'd love to see Luon8o choke in Game 5 and get booed out of the building by the Canucks fans. It would be a great moment. One the NHL could make one of their stupid commercials with.

I don't know what you call that move that Marchand did on Sedin. But I am a fan.

I did it to each of my cats last night.
