Landeskog, Huberdeau and Hamilton confirmed that they are among those invited to do further physical testing and meetings with the Devils after the NHL combine concludes on Saturday. Larsson, Couturier and Nugent-Hopkins had no knowledge of any further testing with any teams

Interesting.

It was really a test to see who would talk! The first three are out.

I like the idea of Hamilton, to be honest. I think he could turn out to be a real stud.

The guy who we pick at 4 better have a good chance into turning into a stud. O think they all have good chances at becoming really good players.

I like that Larsson has played with many of our prospects and knows them.

they block out the URL but bleacherreport has Larsson going to us at 4.

It was their featured columinist writing it though not a random person.

Larsson dropping to fourth is a distinct possibility. Doesn't seem so impossible to me after Huber's run.

Still doesn't mean much to me. Only opinions that really matter are the GMs and the heads of scouting. Everyone else is just speculating, even the guys at TSN and such.

yeah I know but it feels reassuring that more and more people believe that Larsson will drop to 4.

I will say one thing, whoever we get is most likely, not going to Lindros us. Common sense dictates that if you're in that top bunch, you probably want the devils to pick you.

in 3 weeks (can we go at a rate of 3 threads/week?), we will all ***** over who was drafted unless it is Larsson except for those that magically picked their own mock draft to match exactly what the pros did.

Interesting.
They interviewed Landeskog and are now having a private workout with him.

Not that they don't do this with a number of prospects, but with the way Landeskog's personality is, I could see them falling in love with him, quite honestly.

If Larson doesnt drop to 4 I can totally see us taking Hamilton. I dont know what to think of it. Ive researched him a bit and he appears to have a huge ceiling. Larson seemed almost guaranteed to be at least serviceable. Hamilton can either be Weber-esque or Adrian Foster from what Ive read.

Grimaldi won`t go top20, he`s too small not to fall.

Yeah it's been talked about the last few days that the Devs seem to view Zib pretty highly.

This morning on CKAC radio channel (Montreal), I just heard one of your scout in interview. He didnt want to give too much informations about the devil's selection but at the end of the conversation, it was pretty obvious and I can tell you now that the Devils selection will be between Huberdeau and Couturier....just for your information. I think you'll appreciate.

If I consider how much the guy put the accent on the upside on not on the performance now, I think it could be Couturier

Question: What position does he play?
