Curious about, at this point of the season, who would be the top ten QMJHL picks. Are Audette and Bouchard potential top 5?

I think that Audette is a top 5 but not convinced about Bouchard yet. It is still early.

I know Bouchard has had a slow start. His AAA coach said something to the effect that he hasn't come near his potential yet this season. http://letempsdarret.wordpress.com/2...-dans-l’elite/

Halifax beat Fredericton 3-2 in final. Prospect game was team Blue over Orange 7-3.

Mason MacDonald top goaltender 96 born from Halifax

Noah Zilbert 95 sportsmanlike from Fredericton

Alex Hazlehurst 94 MVP Halifax.

As I said in a different thread:

What do you guys feel the value is of Alex Gallant, And Kameron Kielly?

Both play for the Charlottetown Islanders, Gallant 2cnd in league scoring and Kielly 5th, both were just named to team Atlantic as underagers.

Possible top 5 or 10 pick this year? where do you see them going?

Audette's stats suggest he's for real, I haven't seen him though.

Bouchard was okay the one time I saw him.

I made it to the Monctonian and am curious to heard what people think?

Top 96's after the weekend?

Disappointments?

Surprises?

Comments?

Hey lots of nice players at the Monctonian. I thought one player raised his stock even though he is still 14 for another week was Josh Hsatford from the South SHore Mustangs, he had a great tournament, hard worker, gritty and can dish it out and take it. Pugsley from Pictou is a hard worker and has a nose for the puck. Highmore from Dartmouth had a great tournament he is a good hockey player with lots of speed.

A great weekend of hockey at the Challenge.

The German team did well and looks like more international teams will be joining the mix next year.

Congrats to the Ester Blondin team.

Who do you feel really stepped up?

Only watched the final, Audette was really good in the first half of the game, didnt really play a lot in the 2nd half of the game as their coach played more his 3rd and 4th line. Esther Blondin was way too good for Magog in that game. Boy does he look like his father, same style of play, same face , same number. he's a solid prospect for the Q draft.

its a shame frederik Gauthier is going the ncaa route because he's really good (for a qmjhl follower). scored a beauty sh goal, he's really a jordan staal type of player. amazing on the PK and can contribute offensively and has great size at 6"4 200+lbs

LOL@ScotiaLafs, let's hope not all the LSL players like to be drama queens

It really is a shame like Markov79fan mentioned that Gauthier is doing the ncaa route. He is a total stud. I wanna see how he does in the u-17 tourney.

Cussons not that good, LSL is a ****ing soap opera, and team should stay away from their players, unless they're French and go to French school no joke, the anglophone ones are spoiled brats, it's ridiculous. This is coming from someone who's grown up in the area, and still lives there.

Cussons friends make him out to be the next Crosby, no joke, I don't know him personally but I'll bet that he thinks the same.

I personally don't think he's going to play in the Q, and I doubt he'll amount to much in the Q.

And wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole, the kid will in all likely hood be back in LSL next year.
