Who else is leaving LSL? I know Cortese might but who else? Just wish that one LSL guy wouldn't be a drama show. Would love to see Cote in the Q but he wants to go NCAA from what we hear. I hear DeLuca is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Bouchard started the season terrible but after being told by the coach he expected better he has picked it up. I would expect to see him rise back up in the rankings. GAA around 2.50 in Midget AAA is nothing to sneeze at.
I just read yesterday that he'll be in Baie-Comeau after Christmas..

He's actually gonna report there ?
Now that one of them is gone the dominoes will fall.
FYI to everyone, don't be surprised if Klitirinos, Deluca and Robinson end in the Q, in any one of
Gatineau, Quebec or Halifax.
The lions haven't been recruiting from other territories for the most part it's that these kids have
played Jr looks together for years.... They know eachother very
well.
And they probably do recruit abit from other teams territories.

Deluca, Duclair and Drouin go way back.
Klitirinos? He isnt Q caliber...not from what Ive seen...also Halifax wont be drafting De Luca and I highly doubt Gatineau or Quebec will be either.
Now they've fallen apart, has anything simillar ever happened to LSL before ? Or any other AAA team ?
Where they're in a position to repeat and the dominoes fall ?
Atleast the lakeshore Bantam AA's are good, as are the Deuxrives AA's, and the DDV Extreme have a few kids, but still does suck, I would love to them bring a Telus cup home.
I really don't think this is realistic considering your just assembling all the possible players that are eligible to play on this team. Although if this was the case, you missed out on guys like Dillion Fournier, Ryan Culkin, dylan Travis etc.... And also Cusson, sukumarin, klitirinos, koriziz wouldn't be on the team and even guys like Robinson, levesque would be battling. As for the core coming up, I heard lac st Louis hockey is at its weakest in bantam. It's too bad, they really had everything going for them this year..... By the way, other teams would also be really strong if they made their best possible roster available.

Trevis is too old, Fournier isn't, dam SSF was lucky to repeat.
The region is getting better, one thing I would like to know, is the Trois lacs area Lions or Patriotes territory ?
Also, that not true the Bantam. AA's are strong, the 2 lakeshore teams are amazing, as is deux rives.
The area's getting better.... But this is the best team that never was as in the sense that theyre the nest they just won't be crowned champs.
There is only one lakeshore team. Trois Lac is part of the chataguay region. Also, I've seen a bunch of games in bantam this year in lac st-Louis it's aweful. The talent really weakens every year. Other than the west island royals, every team is about .500. The only kid I can see making lions next year is Fortier. And my bad with trevis, forgot he is a late.
Do we really know that Cote, Cortese, etc will be leaving. That LSL team is still strong with DeLuca. Where was it said Cote wold report to Bae Comeau? Also why would DeLuca play for Audette?

How the he'll does Trois lacs belong to Chateauguy ?
What about Daniel Sprong ?
Also don't count out the kids who played Jr Lions, or ICEstorm as they're likely to play for the Lions.

You could do that for any AAA team basically...do one for CAG, STE or CCL...if you include all possible 17 year olds than it isnt realisitic because most of those guys were ready to move on after 1 year let alone going back for 3...
I think most teams dont take De Luca's commitment to Vermont seriously...most didnt take it seriously last year...
Duclair was serious about his and it was well known, I friend of mine went to school with him and had been raving about him for like a year and I was like sure whatever, and next geuss what.... Anyways he told me long before it was common knowledge that Dukey was likely to go too BC, and then Matheson was his own choice, I think it has do with not choosing where he went.
Anyways, still it's pretty ****** seeing a winning season gone down the drain, but what can you do ?
Cycles right, that's how it works, you can't be good every year, unless youre CEB or CAG..... How do they do it ?

Especially CAG ? Theyve been good forever.
I didnt mention Duclair...i said De Luca
Cortese, Cote and Drouin had no business being in AAA anyway...so if you look at it from that perspective, its not like LSL built up a contender only to see the Q poach its players away.
And yea I know CAG is always good...my point is you can take any Midget AAA teams eligible 17 year olds and make a powerhouse...

Yes I agree with you there, but how is it that CAG are always good ? Does the fact that they're a private school help them ?
I mean its just weird....
Hockey Quebec is full of politics, but Lac-St-Louis Hockey is the worst for it, and the biggest joke.
Until someone opens their mouth and says something, it won't change. An it's funny cause alot of parents are fed up, but they won't talk.
Laprise what do you know about Guevremont ? Wasn't he LSL property ?
It's kinda weird cause it's supposed to be a weak region, but since 06-07 the Lions have 3 finals appearances, 1 championship, 1 semifinal loss, so that still pretty good, they've also produce a few Q players too. And some tops prospects who didn't go the Q route.

To be honest I dont really know how the schooling system works in Quebec so I dont really want to comment on private schools or whatever else you were getting at there
And i agree that a lot of parents are fed up, but like you said they wont speak up....more than likely because their kid will be black balled...
Im not really sure if LSL is a 'weak' region...how many registered hockey players are in that region? It should actually be a very deep region if you think about it...unless a lot of kids are turning to other sports...
Guvermont played for the LSL Espoir last year and played a few games for Chateauguay...not sure how he ended up in Magog...

Interesting about Guevremont, is he any good ?
And I agree about the being blackballed, truth is all it takes is one, when one of them talks, so will the rest and then and only then will there be change.
It shouldn't be weak, the facilities are here for the kids to be good and developed properly.
