Roland Garros 2011 Final : Roger vs Rafa

Classic final, 2 of the greatest players of all time, what can we ask more. This should be a long one. I have to say I'd love to see Roger win this.

Anyone watching it?

Will watch it. Go Feds Go!

It's sad though, I really wished Djoko would beat John McEnroe's record.

Roger He was up 5-2 and had a break point. Then Rafa went on godmode and Roger's form slipped. Rafa has won every game since.

How often does Federer lose 5 games in a row? Nadal is successfully attacking his backhand. In addition, Federer's first serve efficiency declined.

Come on Roger, you can still do it! Sad to see him lose a 5-2 lead + a set point tho.

Nadal O 7 2
Federer 5 1

Federer's one hand backhand is letting him down.

Roger's starting to play like in the 2008 R-G Final when he lost 1-6 3-6 0-6 to Rafa

His first serve went from like 80%+ to 50... He has an enormous inferiority complex vs Rafa.

I agree. Roger seemed to be playing all relax in the beginning until 5-3 in the 1st...and then, he started to think too much.

Federer with a great service hold and played previously a great game on Rafa's serve. Looks promising.

WOW, what a point won by Roger (18 strokes) to give himself a break point.

EDIT : wooo, finally Nadal with an unforced error, 4-4 in the second set.

Nadal goes 2 sets to love : 7-5 7-6.

Can Federer comeback from this deficit to win 3 sets in a row vs Nadal? Doubtful but I still have faith in Roger.

It is!

6-5 Federer, and he will be serving for the set, after trailing 2-4.
