Btw, still using LeeDroid? After a couple of days, I started having problems and went back to King Cobra.
Not rooted, I simply sideload the application on the PlayBook with DDPB Installer (pm me to get the link for the site)...
And I still have Leedroid but I started to get issues with it as well (mainly my phone rebooting randomly about 3 times a day.) I'll flash a new kernel as soon as I have some time do do so.
Weird I went to my local Future Shop yesterday to get the HDMI cable for it and they still had the 16gig one at $199 on the floor and the other two at $299.

Sure it's a fantastic deal, but I don't know ..... I have a laptop and a smartphone that can do most of the things a tablet does
200$ is cheap for such a great tablet, but it's still money
If you do buy one, you got to realize that it's more of a convenience than a necessity.
It's awesome to have near the TV so you can browse on a bigger screen than a smartphone and without having a bulky laptop on your lap. It also serves as a radio (thank god for tunein.com) with it's loud speakers. The games are pretty cool, but nothing to write home about. The Android apps are mostly horrible, as the Android player is only compatible with apps written in Java, which means that the more refined Android apps don't work for the most part (Skype, TuneIn and most games don't work). It's also great for watching movies on the go. It does certain things better than a laptop or smartphone but it doesn't do anything that you cannot do on both devices.
IMO, for $200, it's well worth it but I'd have a hard time paying substantially more than that.

Got my playbook in the mail yesterday. just got the time to set it up. so far im really impressed. Worth the money especially with2.0 coming out in a few days
Some interesting stuff so far. I like the addition of the numbers to the top row of the keyboard. The file manager is also a great addition as is the way the BB software is now setup. Will play with it more tonight when I get home as I can't access or setup some stuff like the native email etc due to being at work and not having a wifi connection here.
