didn't foolien also say they don't engage in the things lapierre did to bergeron? so what the **** was recchi doing? team of hypocrites
Agreed. They pretend they are cool until they are not. Their lack of patience is what makes them so frustrating. Things are often getting out of control because of them, not because of the other team.
Wow, well isn't that karma. Still I hated seeing it and hopefully he recovers fine. I really dislike Horton, but I don't want to see anybody get seriously hurt.
It was a late hit (1 sec late, not 2.5 sec like someone else said... you don't count the time in slowmo!) but it was with the elbow, right in front of him. I expect a suspension because it took out one of the key players of the other team likely for the rest of the playoffs, and I believe there should be one, just makes me bitter cause of the Pacioretty incident. Still you don't fix a wrong with another wrong.
Discussing the game is fine. Taking shots at the Bruins fan base will get you an infraction.
so i'm a bit confused. bruin fans can post racist, violent comments about hab fans, or in this case canuck fans on their own board...but now bruin moderators can come onto hab boards and post warnings to hab fans?
First of all, sympathy to Horton and his family. Secondly, I have no sympathy at all for Bruins fans considering the crap they posted in the wake of Chara/Pacioretty.
Third, isn't Recchi supposed to be one of these classy veteran players Subban is supposed to look up to, what's he doing face washing after every whistle?
Fourth, I can't wait for all the hypocrisy coming from the Bruins organization, their fans, and the NHL in general.
That's the worse part, but no one sees that, they just prefer hating on Subban
I hope Horton is alright, hate to see those kind of things happen, no one should be hurt like that, that was late as hell

Another great hit by Torres ! If AK is worth $3m + so is Torres. AK will give you 5 more goals,10 more pts,but Torres heart and effort ,especially in big games, more than make up for those goals and points. And I think Torres had 27 goals a few years back, more than AK ever got

And they keep saying their players are not dirty because they play pretty clean whenever they are not doing dirty hits.
If not mistaken, I said it back in December or Janurary that Emelin was signing with the Habs.
This is going to sound retarded, but my wife's boss' ex-business partner is friends with the Molsons.
He also told me that Gomez was warned by Geoff that he better show up next year or a) they will demote him to the A or trade him for nothing.
I sure hope that it true. I think Gomez will bounce back next year, he'll probably get 60 points.
Aaron Rome is so gonna be a target next year when the Canucks(or whatever team he's on) plays the Bruins. I've always said that Lucic's temper is gonna result in a Bertuzzi like incident that ends a career, I sure hope Rome doesn't suffer that fate.

Out of that, pretty good game. Go Canucks!
You have roughly 1-2 seconds to finish a check, it was slightly longer. Not really late as I've seen guys get hit 3-4 seconds after.
And there was no elbow at all. It was shoulder to head a la Scott Stevens on Lindros.
