The point I made in the draft thread:

Positives:

- Decent photoshop skills
- rising PPD.
- Described herself as funny/sarcastic
- Really passionate.
- Says shes a female but we all know there isn't any females on the internet, so it's probably FBI, who I think would be a smart ally to have on HFOil.

Cons:

- Says she(or FBI) may be a Preds fan, but we'll make her follow the Oil.

Excellent job by Oilbleeder's scouting staff. Could be the steal of the draft.

Welcome aboard! I'm very sorry that you lost your team, and I'm even sorrier that you're now stuck cheering for our miserable outfit, but as they say, misery loves company.

Anyone with passion for hockey is more than welcome here, assuming you have the necessary mentality to immediately hate the Canucks.

Welcome to the board, hope you enjoy it!!!

I'm a little surprised you didn't go with puckguy11 since he was the only poster to list Edmonton among his top preferences.

Maybe we can sign him as an undrafted free agent if he doesn't get drafted. Poor stats and a generic HF avatar could see him slip on draft day.

Incredible pickup Oilbleeder, that was the sort of robbery that even I feel guilty about it (just a little).

Welcome aboard sunshine! On top of some of the points people have already primed you with, you also need to develop a taste for donairs. They are so delicious they are as criminal as getting you 8th overall in the dispersal draft.

The Oilers are loveable losers right now - well, most of em - it shouldn't take you too long to get a couple favourites - we've progressed from (mostly) boring uninspired losses, to (mostly) pretty entertaining hockey

As long as the voodoo curse concerning a certain number doesn't rear its ugly head once again next season, it should be some entertaining hockey. Oh yea, also prepare for many inside jokes and references, some from years back. Anyways, good work by the scouting staff and welcome!

TRUE FACT: This is one of the most entertaining boards to be around in the summer because:

1) multiple draft threads, not including the massive gongshow of a GDT for the 2 days of the draft
2) the summer rookie development camp will creat ethe sort of hoopla that most teams would consider 'playoff levels' of enthusiasm
3) The hilarity of the Free Agency day threads and the massive amount of rumour and speculation
4) a second wave of 'playoff levels' of enthusiasm when the rookie AND main camps open.

Welcome to our boards Sunshine. Hope you like it here.
She has pretty varied tastes apparently. Buffy The Vampire Slayer, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Star Trek. I got a kick out of the song, good stuff.

Kidding aside, welcome to the Oil boards, Sunshine. Happy to have you with us.

Welcome! Facts to learn:

1. Hemsky should be traded for a 3rd round pick at most.

2. No one knows why foster, Khabibulin, Fraser, vandermeer, and most importantly strudwick are on the team.

3. Al Montoya is a phenomenal blue chip up and comer of the rangers. Whenever you can please let this fact known. Personally, I enjoy inquiries into his value.

This is the most important thing to know.

Since you brought it up, do you think the Rangers would take the 1st overall and Eberle for Montoya? Too little?
