· Roll Call Profile: http://hfboards.com/showpost.php?p=27726332&postcount=1 Strengths:
· Proven moderator and leader (is notable for organizing this draft as the Commissioner)
· Quality stay-at-home poster whose postcount is on the rapid recent rise
· Selective main boards participant; occasionally contributes supportive points Weaknesses:
· Moderator position would not necessarily be immediately assigned to new board
· Has expressed an interest in Nashville strong enough that bolting there at the next free agency opportunity is a strong possibility Overall Assessment:
Very high quality poster who can help a board take that next step to the big time. Draft Projection: top-10 pick
I traded up to Philly's pick to get Kevin. He was the poster we were targeting all along. I was very concerned he would be gone early in the draft and after failing to find some higher trade partners, I was quite happy to be able to make a deal with the Flyers board and still be able to get Kevin at #10. It was a tremendous pick for the team at any spot in the draft, but to be able to get him at #10 made it an even better value.
Kevin will be a great addition to the community and we're very proud to have him as the newest member of the HF Sharks.
Now, it was a steep price, but one that I think was worth it, and I made sure to trade from a position of strength. What we traded for the #10 pick was:
-the #25 pick that originally belonged to us.
-I have agreed to contract out and do some photoshop and admin work for the Philly board whenever they request it
-the Sharks board will make a handful of GDTs for the Philadelphia board throughout the 11-12 season. Exact # of GDTs and who will do them will be worked out at a later date.
-We will establish a Philly/San Jose alliance for the 11-12 season and playoffs.
-Oh and we also traded Davidhye. Sorry David, it was strictly a business decision. You're a great poster and I think you will do well in Philadelphia.

with the imminent move of the Thrashers to Winnipeg, Atlanta was gracious enough to have some fun with it by conducting a dispersal draft for their posters. A few dozen Thrashers posters signed up and the other teams in teh league all had their mods select one poster from the pool of available people who would then become a member of that board on HF.
You can find a thread about it on the main NHL board.
So what are you gonna do, not report? Stop posting in protest? Post even more in protest?
If I say no, the trade is voided, and Kim gets his pick back - it's up to him to pursue that strategy. I may consider waiving my NMC if my infraction history gets cleared.
