Another fan accused of him sitting down.. when you usually see the players not playing stand... this was also not acceptable in their minds. Winters are long, but we embrace them here.. its more the hockey season is long.. 12 months long, and anything and everything is under a microscope.. some fans just take it a bit too far.

Hounds outplayed bad first half of the game, then after a nice passing play finished my Findlay you could see the confidence start to come back... 5 straight goals and finally a W.. that was the exact Hounds team we had before this big skid, plus a solid Jack Campbell. Confidence hopefully is back and these guys will remember their recipe for success.

Jack Campbell is worth the price of admission most nights.. all those picks are worth watching, and fans should appreciate watching him, could be another 10-15 years before we have another goalie this talented on our squad.

Nice to see Broll drop the mitts, everytime he does, he gets into the game and makes plays.

Nurse looks real good out there, his rushes always create offense and hope he continues to play this style of game, you can see how effective he can be for years to come.

Dubchak has not done much since he got the "C", seems to be gripping the stick a little too tight, made some plays tonight and got the empty netter, hope he has some jump now too.

Good win, nice to see Dubchak get rolling.. said after last game that goal may be what it takes to get him going, hat trick tonight and 4 goals in 2 games. Campbell didnt have his greatest game, but a goal or two he could not see through traffic.

Good to see another good effort, Kantor was his usual self, Alderson and Durocher looked good.. gotta work on the turn overs, Rogalski and Miller had some bad ones, and Curcuruto and Sproul are sometimes too soft with it. Room for improvement, but glad we got 2 wins in a row finally.

Saginaw could be a tough test, as they have a new head coach and are only 4 points out of the playoffs now.. if we go into another slump, this next game could be a huge one down the road.

What a difference a week can make.. we did not play a full 60 minutes, but Murray was solid and we got the W. Cousins has looked really good lately, still being a pest but is walking the line much better. We are now 1 point back of 5th place, and 4 back of 4th and have put Saginaw and Guelph behind us for a while. 8 more games until the deadline, and Dubas has stated he will not sell, could stand pat or look at adding scoring, as multiple teams have called and offered players... stated Curcuruto and Murray are off limits, which is good. Looks like if we make a move it will be lateral to become younger, or take a few picks out of the stock pile and add a scorer.

What a difference a week can make for sure and what a difference poor officiating can do to a game and it's outcome..questionsable penalty shot ..and the Kitchener Captain's skills in diving certainly make one believe he is trying to make it in the wrong profession..perhaps acting or olympic diving maybe more up his alley..
the referees certainly must know they are in the wrong one
good road game by the hounds who deserved 2 points.

There were crap calls for both teams. I'm not sure how do you figure the Soo deserved 2 points, or any team for that matter.

Frankie was the difference in the 3rd period. He stood on his head for the Rangers, and Murray did the same at the other end. It came down to a shootout, after both teams put a ton of shots on net during regulation and OT.

But whatever floats your boat. If it makes you happy to think that the stripes gave the Rangers the game, give 'er.

I use to get frustrated by Dogs and Wings, but then I realized that its not worth it. We all come on here to have a friendly discussion on hockey, specifically the OHL.

Dogs and Wings lets it be known hes only on here to stur things up. Not my gig, I dont understand how someone enjoys negative conversations.

I was at the Hounds game in Guelph on Saturday, and I was surprsied by the lack luster effort.

I visited with a few players who I know, and had some interesting discussions about the state of the team.

Interesting times for the Greyhounds.

Good on Nick Halagian, stepped up and took on Tyler Bertuzzi. Sadly, it was another fight started because Cousins refused. I have no issues with Cousins, not my style of player, but hes effective at what he does most of the time.

I dislike that he puts his teammates in bad situations. Halagian had to take a few rights because of Cousins, and to me, thats not a positive.

Just my thought that from the television set it looked like the Hounds outplayed Kitchener..their goalie was 1st star...26 shots last period by Hounds. and the penalty shot was questionable..as where the dives by Kitchener's captain..
Now you obviously thought different and that of course is your prerogative...
i would think anyone would agree that the officiating in this league is suspect in a lot of games..
Hope we meet in the playoffs i like visiting Kitchener..lived there for awhile and i think we can handle the Rangers (so far anyways)
Merry Xmas

What side of your mouth are you speaking of when you say you have no issues with Cousins?

I've always had a soft spot for the Sault since the Nolan connection with Buffalo. I watch games online when I have the opportunity, but havent really had a chance to watch them live. Im really surprised at the lack of effort that the team shows. Everyone likes to complain about Dubas' trade, but boy, there are 5-6 players on this team that are REALLY under performing. I dont like to name names or anything, but wow, I dont know

The team is ready to compete, but without everyone playing at their best, it doesnt matter who they get.

Come on now. You really want to get into an argument dont you? Tigers spelled out the issues that he saw, do you have make EVERYTHING personal?

Im a Greyhound fan and even IM tired of the drama you bring here. Cant someone just have an opinion without you turning it into a fight?

Doesn't matter since your talking about Nick Cousins. Not even worth an argument that punk and one that is ruining his hockey career. What Tiger see's every other GM, scout are also watching and it's not pretty. That kid won't last 2 seasons in pro before a serious injury would take him out.

Bad reps follow you everywhere and in NHL he will have to fight. ( LOLOL )

My guess is he never makes it outta AHL....and I am serious.

He isn't skilled enough to begin NHL just yet so it's bus riding time for Nicky, and some fellow players will destroy him half way to Bridgeport. ( lock him in john )

Its not about being mundane, its about being respectful to others, hell, its about being civil. One of the rules of posting on here is that you have to respect those who post, I have no idea how you get around that, but thats not my call. If we don't agree, that doesn't mean you have the license to belittle me, it means we have the right to disagree.

This board is like the rink, a place for people to have a conversation about hockey. If you acted that way in a group at a rink, how long would they continue to interact with you? Im guessing that the reason why this board isnt as busy as the Spits/Sting board is because no one is allowed to disagree with you.

Im pretty much gone again, we arn't allowed to have a conversation about hockey here, at least not allowed to disagree with you.

Well i do agree with what you write about being respectfull to others..and allowing others to have a different opinion.
I would guess this board is not as busy as other boards because of the Hounds Forum
You obviously don't like my literary skills ..but if you met me you would either love me or hate me..that's the way it is and the way i prefer it..
I have no opinion about you personally because i have never met you but do wish you a Merry Xmas ( if you celebrate Xmas)
Try the Soo forum there is lots of activity about the Hounds there
p.s. i did not think my comment spoke of anyone but myself and my personality if you took it to mean you ..you took it wrong

Then why do you attack those who disagree with you? Youve done it with me, youve done it with tigers, youve done it with others. You dont even offer a counter opinion, you attack, name call and belittle. How is that being respectful?

Any point you want to make is lost because you look like someone trolling for responses

Actually if you read the posts i was the one atacked that tigers (tried) to belittle..
He also stated he didn't have an issue with Cousins and in the same thread posted negative comments about him
I offered an opinion originally about the Hounds Kitchener game he countered in negative tone about my; post to someone else..
Now the whole tone of his post aabout Cousins was he didn't liek his teammates sticking up for him...
none of it makes any sense coming from here
please explain if possible what i said that was so wrong in those eyes of yours
If you read some of the comments i have read about me personally on these boards you may actually see that i have been quite tolerant with some of these people
perhaps i havea thicker skin..???

Then say that! Say that he was belittling you. Dont attack. But I dont see that tigers was. He was saying what we all think. He was saying what YOU have said.

We all get frustrated by reading your posts. Remember the Western Conference predictions thread where you got everyone riled up. The London thread fights you started. You bait people into arguments. You trash talk them, and you admit that you enjoy doing it. Its not about thick thick skin my friend, as you agreed, its about being respectful. How many posters have you got into arguments with on here? Its not all us is it? We all cant be the ones causing issues. In one post you bragged about being charged with inciting a riot....but its us who are in the wrong? Perhaps the reason why so many are frustrated with you is because you randomly show up on other teams boards and bait them into arguments?

Take a read through the history of your posts, it would appear as thou 90 percent of the regular posters have grown sick of the 'sturing it up' stuff you do. 90 percent have been subject to your insults.

Frankly, im tired of it. I rarely post on here, and the fact that I did goes to show you how frustrated myself and others are getting with your 'stur it up' gimmick.

Not 90 percent of my friends, 90 percent of those people that you interact with on HFBoards. If your going to give it out, youll have to learn to get it back without attacking.

Good day Sir, another poster driven off of the hounds board....

D and W must be bored again. All I see is a poster who cant logically defend his posts, or answer many ?s hes challlenged with and yet believes hes some sort of literary skills guru. Funny actually.
PLayed that game with him for a bit and when he continuously couldnt defend his position or answer ?s when his posts were taken apart I got bored. Hard to talk hockey with someone whose posts are as scattered as his are.
Enjoy the holidays
