Would think 3 out of 4 would do it...with Windsor being one of the 3...
On another note what are the odds of Campbell coiming back as an overage??

From what I recall hearing in the past, next year is NHL or AHL for Campbell. He'd be an OA so he's eligible for the AHL. I don't see Dallas putting him back in SSM, or anywhere else in the O.

He will be in the AHL.

I dont think there has ever been a signed 1st round pick that went back for an OA year. Let alone a top 12 pick.

Dallas only has four goaltenders under contract next year, including Campbell.

I read somewhere earlier that he'd go to the AHL as soon as next monday to compete with Beskorowany for the number one job.

A question to all you insider's : is there any truth to the rumour there is more to the Jack Campbell trade then we were advised of??? Like we have to give Windsor their choice of our overagers and a pick comes back to us....
thanks in advance

In general would it be tough to get tickets for the saturday game if I showed up a couple hours before puck drop? I might be heading up that way to take in this epic battle for the ages, but want to know if I need to buy ahead of time.

No, a few hours before you are fine.... crowds have varied from 4,000-4,200 for the second half.... probably even a little less with the poor product... usually at least a couple hundred seats available this year, unlike the past few

A couple of hockey analysis have stated that with the acquisition of Jack Campbell, SSM traded Mackenzie Braid and Patrick SieloffKingston's 3rd in 2012, Windsor's 2nd in 2013, Erie's 3rd in 2013, Owen Sound's 2nd in 2014, Saginaw's 2nd in 2014, SSM's 2nd in 2015 and SSM's 15th in 2016. If the greyhounds do not make the playoffs, do fans feel Kyle Dubas should be fired?

Personally I say no but I'm interested to hear what the Soo fans think.

Yes he should be fired. Along with stapleton. They are hockeys version of dumb and dumber. Just a brutal trade. Windsor is going to be a powerhouse now, while the soo will be even worse next year than they were this year.

Dont forget the overager that Windsor gets to choose
It will be either Findlay or Miller
makes the trade even worse

But one of the seconds would be going back most likely. We traded Carnevale for two seconds IIRC so I guess we would be getting a bit of a discount, but truth be told I'd rather keep the pick.

Well it's over..the experiment has failed..wow we must have the most progressive Board of Directors in the CHL..
Been a season ticket holder for over 30 years and i have tried to be patient with this team, I would lilke to backtrack and ask any other team in the CHL is they would have hired Dubas..i was willing to give the kid a chance but he has set us back a few years again.
As for hiring Stapleton..my heavens "These kids are lucky to have this guy as coach??" He never displayed any passion all year behind the bench...obviously not cut out to be a head coach UNLESS he would have been willing to change. But he wanted to stick to his habits and expect different results..."Nice guys finish last"
What does our progressive Board do now???Should be interesting .. I personally hold the team of directors that hired Dubas rsponsible..Reward the stickboy..forget the fans who pay the bills and endure the product..
Whatever happened to working your way to the top....???
Would someone please buy this team that knows hockey.......before we lose the entire fan base like we did with Esposito..
Excuses are for losers..would be nice if the GM and coachs also displayed a bit of responsibility..not once have i ever heard any of them say..I could do better
That's my vent...i have already signed on for another season
Going to be tough to go watch an exhibition game again so early in the year..
I would think we are now officially the laughing stock of the CHL..
For God's sake to the Board of Directors think about the good of the team and do ther right thing ..pay these guys off and bring in someone who knows how to win in Junior Hockey pretty sure Dr Lou can afford it
So hopefully there is a good prospect somewhere near the top of the draft list.. I certainly wouldn't know and if i did would be reluctant to say so as i had this team finishing a lot higher.. "I was WRONG" not the first time in my life..and i can accept it. We didn't have the grit to succeed once we made the trades with Sudbury
On a rather interesting note the SooHoundsforum has crashed..coincedence??

Dubas has a LOT of questions to answer after this debacle of a season.

I've heard it both in the rink and now here. My guess is that it's correct. It's essentially like the Windsor/Osh deal a few years back where Windsor sent Baldwin, Neuvirth, someone else, and got Kovar, someone, and a bunch of picks back...then one of those picks was sent back to Oshawa for Mitchell.

You guys will be happy with the draft selection.....he may turn the franchise around...someone you can build around. Don't listen to media...make your own decisions....

last time I checked...Kyle doesnt play....and his team was in the upper half of the division at one point.....he put some good players on the ice and they fell apart as the season went along...

I think blame should lie elsewhere...
