Then I just ignored him as he offered no value to the discussion

Sympathies to the Soo fans
Looks like most were wrong..in their predictions that is

It wont be McDavid.

I guess itll depend who goes earlier. HoSang, McKeown and McDavid top 3? But ya never know.
They definitely need scoring help so maybe best F left?
They have a good rundown if ya scroll down and look at OHL draft prospects thread

hopefullly Dubas drafts better than he trades early in his carreer for the Soo faithful

The guys in the draft thread seem to think Fabbri is the Hounds man.

Right now it is probably Fabbri, but they are talking to another player as well...

You'll be lucky to win a playoff game before the maple leafs.

Campbell lost his AHL debut 3-1. One thing Windsor and Sault fans can agree on, it would be nice to see Jack develop into a top NHL goalie. I love his attitude, and you can see the talent is there. I think his various struggles in the OHL really will help him in the long run. More than any other position, being a number one goalie is as much a mental challenge as a physical one. The kid is learning to battle through some tough situations and is probably learning to develop the thick skin a goalie needs to be successful.

And this ladies and gentleman, is why we consistently get attacked by other OHL fan bases. Thanks man, forget that we just want to talk hockey and the draft, lets flood the boards with more negativity!

Sad to report.. dogsandwings passed away last night suddenly, these boards will be a lot less entertaining and OHL hockey lost one of its biggest fans. He was a Hounds season ticket holder for 20+ years, and am glad he got to see them get their Cup in 93'. He will be pissed in section 118, row J, seat 1.

This is just an online message board and sometimes we take things far too seriously. I know I let him rile me up on numerous occasions... but... you know I'm usually not at a loss of words but I have no idea what to say.

If anyone can recall what his charity was, I would like to make a donation.

RIP dogsandwings

RIP

He was as passionate as you can get. While he riled up some feathers, he never backed down and I respected that.

Thanks for posting his seat number. I may have to go pay it a visit next time I'm there, just out of respect.

October 1st 1943, born in Searchmont, Ontario, where he also passed. Will tell you one thing, he never actually got angry at a forum member, it was all fun and games to him, but I do remember him hitting Sergie Kostitsyn (sp?) in the head with a bottle of apple juice after a playoff loss in the Essar Center.

RIP DnW. YOu did provide entertainment and I enjoyed reading the back and forth. You will be missed

True enough Libbs, we all get too caught up in this stuff sometimes.

Lol. Obviously a great man who was far too underappreciated because of these unknown acts to those of us outside of Soo home games. RIP.

I'm shocked. Though I don't know who Dogsandwings is, I'm sure I would recognize him with the amount of time I've spent at the Memorial Gardens and Essar Centre during my lifetime.

RIP Dogsandwings and thanks for the great banter here.

Oh my gosh - that's pretty much the last thing you want to read. RIP DogsandWings. I hope you enjoyed the banter here.

If your a long time fan, guaranteed you do. If you know the Anstess' family, we have sat right behind them for years.

Any news from the rookie camp this weekend, any surprises. Already know about the two first rounders but what about the rest, any chance they will sign more than 2 96?

Hey Ya'll, havent posted for a while. Keep the hockey talk going. Dogs and Wings would be upset with the lack of talk and for his sake "Windsor sucks", hopefully that will start up a convo haha

I haven't looked in the Soo thread before today in quite a while, no new posts so never looked.

That being said, although late my condolences to DnW's family and friends. I never had much interaction with him but some of what he posted and the responses it stirred up was definitely entertaining.

He appeared to say what he felt, no apologies or regrets and regardless of your opinion on the content you can respect an honest opinion like that.
