Glad everyone is liking the idea. I REALLY like the idea of Tallon's head on there!
Also I was planning to change where it says "DEAD" to "PANTHERS" so it says RED PANTHERS REDEMPTION. Then adding those pithy slogans under that should look pretty sweet. I'm gonna try and find the font to do that and see if I can start working on it.
Also for Gern's benefit on the old tank meme, you may also see some confetti in a lot of our avatars or mentions to confetti. Thats a reference to the previous season where on the last game our fantastic (sarcasm intended) President Michael Yormark (or as we often refer to him Yorkman due to Tallon mistakingly saying his name wrong when introduced) decided that to celebrate a losing season on the last home game to throw confetti and no one (players included) thought that was a good idea.

Other thing I forgot to mention was changing the gun to a hockey stick so that should look pretty bad a$$ in the end. I think the new video on the Panthers site has a bunch of slogans we can use also.

I thought I might start a thread to post graphics and ideas for new avatars and icons using the new branding graphics. There are already some great ideas floating around regarding the Red Dead Redemption graphic.
I pulled out a quick clip of the red eyes and the "we see red" text from the main page. They're low-res since they're embedded in a Flash movie, and it's protected. I'll figure out how to break it open and grab the high-res graphics eventually, but don't have time today.
Also, the red they're using appears to be something in the neighborhood of #E20E20

I'd like a Michael Myers flushed out in red...with a Panthers logo at the bottom of it saying "we see red"...something along those lines if someone can put one together that would be awesome.

since I totally suck at photoshopping , can you do one with Darth Maul (w/o the red over him) with the Panthers logo and the actual "WE SEE RED" letters?

Other characters you guys may think of in terms of horror movies would be like Hannibal from Silence of the Lambs, the Scream mask, Pinhead from Hellraiser, Jigsaw from Saw, or Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Awesome, just all red like the others, and I don't mind if he's all covered up, either. Want to see things clearly, just wanted him in the background. Thanks a lot!!
