That video was hilariously bad, but I'm glad the connectivity to other people is a big focus for them.

Also, the symmetrical analog sticks look fine on the standard Wii U controller, but they look weird as hell on the Pro controller.

Likely trying to keep a measure of symmetry between the Wii U and the Pro controller, because the U Gamepad is still likely going to mandatory for the majority of the ground-up titles.

Wii U, featuring an Xbox 360 controller

I have no problems with this at all. The video focuses on living rooms... What about online gaming, Nintendo?

Said from day 1 the only reason I'll get one is for a next gen Zelda game, after today's announcements that's still the only reason.

It was one of the most fake and awkward thing I've seen Nintendo designing another "collect the dust" console

Also, they are also dumb to make us think the xbox controller style is a new thing...

I'm not even a Nintendo hater Loved the NES/SNES/N64 & Gamecube

I like how they took an Xbox controller, made it worse, and passed it off as "Pro"

Yup. Moving the right analog stick is fine by me, and the proper d-pad will be much better than the 360 pad IMO. Nintendo seems to have nailed the controllers perfectly.

I really psyched for the mirrored display option. Playing console titles while watching the hockey game seems almost too good to be true.

I think I'm a launch day buyer for the Wii U, first console since the Dreamcast for me to pre-order. Can't wait.

They pretty extensively covered it. Showing friends playing online games, entering into a Skype like chat and a Swapnotes like chat mode.

They weren't trying it pass it off as a "new thing". It's just a wireless, third iteration of the Classic Controller.

The last one was called the "Classic Controller Pro", hence the pro.

Little bit different design though.

Different design between the OG Classic Controller and the Classic Controller Pro as well.

By all indications, Nintendo has basically gone around asking third parties what they want and incorporated that into the console. I'm sure this is just a way to get lazy-ass third parties not to add some touch-screen functionality to PS360 ports.

Yes. It's backwards compatible with Wii Games & Wii Controllers.

Did they announce pricing or launch dates yet?

Wow, cool; the tablet definitely has a lot of promise! And that top 25 list is almost a year old; Skyward Sword isn't even on it!
