only a few hundreds thousand less. and of course they are makes people want it that much more. I don't think Nintendo thought it would sell as well as they thought imo, thats why they released so few. to ensure a sell out. I know ebgames is sold out till end of dec I was told and waiting lists across canada are filled up already
There are brick and mortar stores all over the US that still have plenty of WiiU's in stock.
That's nice? I know best buy, sears, wal marts and targets all over California still have plenty of stock, considering how many tweets I get about people still walking in and purchasing them. Not to mention every time I've gone into the stores they've had them in stock.
It baffles me people believe anything Reggie says.
I walked in to the toys r us here in long island city queens, and they had no less than ten wii u consoles in stock. I was even able to swap my basic for a deluxe. You can definitely find one in New York City if you look around.
Ever since the last system update the Wii U locks up every time my brothers start up Black Ops II. It doesn't on my account because I've set BO to launch directly into multiplayer. If I try to go to the campaign though it freezes up, haven't tried going to zombies, no scratches on the disc. The only other game I have, NSMB works fine still.
You guys think I should contact Nintendo support about this or will they just tell me it's Activision problem?
I gotta say I love the position of the right stick in the upper position compared to the buttons. Feels so much better to me than where it usually is like the 360 controller, my thumb works better straight up and done than sideways.
I was also worried about the sticks being convex instead of concave, but they're much better than they were on the nunchuck, haven't had a thumb slip off yet.
Got it all set up, now just need to wait for the kids to go to bed before I can try it out. DLed the patch (which took about an hour for me) and I transfered all my Wii data and VC games over. As someone who hasn't used a tablet ever, the gamepad looks to be pretty slick.
