The PGA Tour desperately needs Tiger to not just return to the game, but return at a high level. I still believe that even at 75% Tiger is better than anyone out there.
Why? It's not like the game will disappear without him.

Did you see my post above about ratings?

No, the game will not disappear, but it's popularity will drop considerably until the next one appears. And I'm not talking about the next great golfer, I'm talking about the once a generation player that draws people to the game.

What does a drop in popularity mean to anyone outside of the golf industry?
