That is great stuff. I can't make it to these shows for various reasons, and I'm extra pissed hearing you both say it was really good. Glad for you guys, though.

That pic is extra great since Trey has a genuine interest in the Flyers, and is buddies with fellow UVM alum John Leclair. Quick Flyers/Phish story that I'm reminded of...I was at a solo Trey show at the Electric Factory in '03...and during a quiet moment between songs, some dude in the crowd just screamed out "JOHN LECLAIR!!!" at the top of his lungs. Trey heard it and immediately went into this rambling affair about how Leclair was his buddy and he couldn't wait for him to succeed in the play-offs that year and bring the cup home to Vermont, saying he would be at the party to celebrate with Leclair and would get to lift the cup over his head, blah blah blah. It was pretty funny stuff.

Then, after the show, I was around back of the E-Factory and met him...the one time I've met Trey. First we were talking about Leclair, but then since I knew Trey had played some hockey when he was younger, I said, "When's the last time you laced 'em up?" He laughed and said it had been a while but that he had gotten to play in a men's league a few years earlier. Then he told me this hilarious story(especially funny because he got really animated telling it) about how years back Leclair had set him up to play in a Flyers alumni game. He was telling me how he had been out there with Moose Dupont, Bob Kelly...he was blanking out on some names so I was feeding him names of old-time Flyers and we were going back and forth figuring out who he played with. And he said that they all kept calling him "Ray" the whole time. He was like, "Yeah, I'm out there with Moose Dupont and he's going 'Alright, RAY!' 'Let's go RAY!"

Great stuff. That pic also reminds of the Flyers game I was at in '97 when Phish sang the national anthem...Trey wore a Flyers jersey for that as well.

Unreal show and great pictures.

My first show since 2004 but it stands tall with all the times I've seen them for sure. Mike's>Simple>Slave>Weekapaug are you kidding me??? Plus ****ing Cities. Love that song.

Also great to see Trey repping hockey, even if it is the Flyers.

Wish I was going tonight but I am doing MSG next week, they are playing well right now - much better than I expected.

Trey was on the Orange Line last night. Awesome video of him wearing a Richards jersey from the last show in Philly.

Saw him play for the Flyer alumni team at MSG against the Rangers alumni team after a Flyers-Rangers game in 1999 or 2000. All remember from the game was Beezer getting torched for 6 and being pissed.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I didn't think it warranted a new thread being created ...

Tuesday, Phish played at the-venue-that-will-always-be-called-Great-Woods, and on two occasions a "Let's Go Bruins" chant broke out.

The first was between "Bug" and "Pebbles & Marbles" and, sorry Flyers fans, even Trey joined in the fun. And the second was afer the 2nd set ended but before the encore started. Made me laugh, each time.

Ok, I can't figure out how to embed the video, but: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztyi5jhdZWc&feature

Friends of mine that went to game 3 said they saw his bus in Charlestown (just across the river from the Garden). I love that Trey loves hockey.
