Now that you have seen what Chris Kelly can do, I am curious what the B fans think of him now?

Worth the trade?
Worth his salary?

He was my favorite player in Ottawa, I was sad to see him go. I am glad he got the chance to compete for the cup this year.

I wasn't a fan of his until the playoffs to be honest. He's about as responsible a forward as you're gonna get. His offensive mental lapses are maddening, but he's been a pretty safe bet for just about the entire playoffs.

On the mental lapses, twice he has carried the puck on a 2 on 1...and just skated straight into the boards somehow.

I gained an enormous amount of respect for him after he got the injury, its like the cage he had to wear gave him a level up or something.

Did not like him in the regular season, took him time to find his place on the club. Absolutely LOVE the guy in the playoffs. Warrior, works his ass off every shift, good wheels and he's been excellent at times on the PK.

Yes to both. He's been a great player for us. Scored some big goals, and huge on the PK, which is essential against PP-reliant teams like Montreal, Tampa, and Vancouver/Philly to a lesser extent.

I was a big fan of Kelly before he got here.

I like him even more now. You need guys like that to win in the playoffs. Great secondary player who can do everything to surround the core group.

We wouldn't have beaten Montreal without him. That alone made it a great trade for us. As long as he's not on a breakaway or 2 on 1 he's great

Sometimes I think some of you watch one team.

Got to allow that there are a few nothings that are good hockey players. Then again those are the players I identify with, Ryder, Kelly, Doak, a Dallas Smith, a Don Awrey.
