Winnipeg doesn't take Beaulieu and the LEafs take Puempel if he's there.

And yeah, where's Murph?

Rask at 57 is interesting. I'd see him more around 35-45.

The only thing really out of place is you have Beaulieu ahead of not just Hamilton but Murphy as well. I really don't think theres any chance he goes above one of them, let alone both.

Rest of it's "diffrent" but not ridiculous. Not exactly a fan though.

If Edmonton has a choice between Schefiele and Klefbom at 19, I will be ecstatic. I'd hope they pick Schefiele though, we need that future big 2C. I do like Oscar though. Hopefully we can trade up.

Do you really see Danault as a mid first round player? I'd rather teach Klefbom or Scheifele some Quebecois cuss words and introduce him to poutine than go that far off the board.

I think so, impressed me alot at top prospects and if im not mistaken captains victoriaville

doing so as a draft eligible forward is a huge feat none the less.

The Rangers will not be drafting Jamie Oleksiak.
What is your logic behind that pick?
Last year they drafted Dylan McIlrath (big physical D man) in first round.
They just picked up Tim Erixon (was poised to re-enter the draft) and are stacked with young D (McDonugh, Sauer, Stall, Girardi, Del Zotto, Valentinko). Plus, they lack offense...so I see them grabbing a forward in the first round, since they dont have another selection till like the fourth.

Just a quick correction, Ottawa owns Boston's and Chicago's 2nd round picks.

The Wild better not be passing on Bärtschi for Beaulieu.

Ducks pick Puempel before Jurco. Trust me. No way in hell Puempel is a second round player.

Danault going at 17? Hell no. If they actually draft him at 17 with players like Miller, Jensen, Klefbom, Grimaldi, Jurco and Scheifele, I will root for another team.

i have a sneaking suspicion that if Klefbom is still there at #19, the Oilers will grab him! just a hunch.

Mayfield, Jaskin, Biggs, and Jurco all may not even go in the 1st round, Puempel and Morrow will for sure, Khokalachev, Percy, JT. Miller and David Musil all have a chance to. unfortunately, some of these guys have committed to many years of college, and that may hurt their draft positions....some teams may not want to wait 3 or 4 years just for a kid to finish college.

I like the Hawks picking C.Gibson, but I can almost guarentee that if Scheifele is there at #18 that the Hawks will take him, and I'll say if not him it's about 70% likely that they'll take another centre. (Miller, McNeil etc)
