I specifically watched Glass when he was on the ice... The guy has ABSOLUTELY NO ****ING GOD DAMN IDEA WHAT HE'S DOING OUT THERE, nevermind the fact that he doesn't hit like he's supposed to.
I could play better than glass if I was given the same minutes as him... oh my god.
Do yourselves a favor, if Glass is on the ice next game, just watch him and him only, its beyond pathetic.
Edit: I could down a two-six of jack daniels, throw up, then go out on the ice and play better than tanner glass.
"Bruins in their end. I'm going to skate in and throw a weak, pointless check after he makes the pass. Oh ****, now I have to skate 200 feet back so my line can be pinned in their own zone the entire shift. Got the puck!!! Oh ****. ****. ****. I better give it away, but I'll make it look like I was trying to clear the zone. Option B: Ice it!. Oh look, my time to get off!"
What it reminds me of at times...is that kid in minor league hockey who sort of follows the puck and the play around...but isn't a strong enough skater and never ever really gets there in time to join the play. just kinda always chasing the play around...never in control of what is happening, dictating the play. just following it.
I think there is no legitimate 4th line NHL LW on our roster right now, unfortunately. Glass and Tambellini bring nothing to the table, even though both guys had played well at certain points earlier this year.

It aggrievates me when Coach V continues to use size over skill at forward, and size over puck movement on defense when we are having issues scoring. I'm worried that when guys like Hodgson, Shirokov, Schroeder, Rodin, etc are ready and could contribute some offense in the bottom six that they will be overlooked in favor of talentless grinders.
Gillis wants to build a team Like Detroit, but it seems AV still is relunctant to totally conform to Gillis vision. Either Gillis has to find some gritty players with talent (which isn't easy), or AV needs to adapt some more and value skill more than grit in the bottom six.
I actually thought Glass was more effective last night than he has been for most of the playoffs. Unfortunately that doesn't say very much. Tambellini is a much better option.
lol Glass looked like a minor leaguer (which is where he belongs).... He is small and weak and have 0 hands and can't break out worth sh_t... i can't really think of anything he brings...
The entire team is trying their hardest, Luongo has made a couple of goal saving stops, and here comes Glass. I have a feeling even if he got the shot off the ice, Thomas would've robbed him with the stick.
These types of missed opportunities seem to come back and bite you more often than not.
Holy crap is that lineup choice haunting us already. Any other bottom 6 player gets a shot away.
But would just any bottom 6 player have the foresight to tire the Bruins out by constantly turning the puck over in his own end for the 2 minutes prior like Glass did?
