But haven't you learned anything from Chris Drury? None of those things mean anything when there's profit to be had

I'm sure he'll get the same kind of package.

I must say, with the cap rising even higher than we thought it would, I am really coming around to the idea of signing Brad. With the current salary cap, $7.5 suddenly doesn't seem too bad.

Lecavalier? *barfs*

While still a good player, he's not what he once was...and is signed for 9 more seasons.

I think he'd be better as a winger and I'd love to see Dubinsky-Richards-Lecavalier or even Lecavalier-Richards-Gaborik

I'd welcome Vinny if he didn't carry a $7.7M cap figure for the next decade.

Lecavz improved midway through the past year but u cant risk a trade and 10 year contract on someone thats been as seriously injured as hes been the past few years.

I think Jarome Iginla would be a very good player to target if Calgary doesnt do well this season (And I have no idea how they will do well).

I thought I read somewhere on the trade section that the Flames are shopping Kipper. Kinda strange if true, you'd think if they're trading their star goalie they're rebuilding and should trade Iginla too before he gets too old and they get nothing for him.

I don't think that Iginla would leave Calgary at this point in his career, but it is something to think about.

Pfft, what does she do for a living? Surely we can find her a job in N.Y. Does she have any interest in running a professional basketball team?

You guys thought that blog salming video was funny?

To me it just seemed like two salty leaf fans trying to tell us our team sucks.
Guys in the biggest glass house in all of hockey swinging cinder blocks around.

I thought it was pretty hilarious. A lot of what they said was true - overpay by gm, benched by coach really cracked me up.

Yes. Hilarious. You should wait until the Leafs make the playoffs before letting their fans bug you.

Oh no I don't have anything against to the truths presented
But Leaf fans trying to tell us OUR team is crappy?

Trying to bust on us because we had a 54 year drought - Leafs haven't won the cup since there were six teams in the league

I didn't want Richards at first but after reading some of the free agent threads, and seeing people say we'd miss the playoffs even with Richards, makes me wanna get him just to see what we can do.
