Add "season 2013" to the thread title to serve the original purpose of the old thread.

I wonder if that Daugavins penaltyshot will get on the next CC?

Oh you bet it willl Don does not like entertainment or flashy moves by Euros.

I could be wrong though as it was exciting and brought the arena to their feet (based on a friend at the game).

I didn't see the game, I thought it was in the shootout. No one would try that during an in game penalty shot would they?

@CoachsCornerCBC: 1. People are putting down Kaspers Daugavins for putting the blade of his stick upside down on the puck in the shootout last night.

@CoachsCornerCBC: 2. He missed after twirling around and Krejci went next and scored which made it even worse. I don't blame the kid at all. Lets face it..

@CoachsCornerCBC: 3. the shootout is a gimmick anyway. Fans loved it and besides it worked for him in the AHL.

To be more accurate, the term Cherry uses is "...and everythink like that".

Scary stuff with the Sedin-Bobrovsky stuff. Especially when Ron stuck that stick in that helmet.

Don looked awesome tonight. Glad to hear that my man Crosby is pro-fighting. Don also made a good point about why coaches are credited with wins for shootout wins, but players are not credited with goals. It indeed kept him from having better career coaching numbers. And a very nice tribute to that fallen female police officer.

Don Cherry is even more senile I thought.. he thinks that Abdelkader goal was actually a kicking motion.

I can't even pay attention to what he's talking about because I can't stop chuckling about that hat.
