Tim Thomas- What a glove!

This has to be the best playoff goaltending performance I have seen in sometime. Even better than Halak last year I would say. I say he could win the Conn Smythe whether Boston wins or loses. Thoughts?

Very similar. He is the difference maker for Boston.
Torres for Van.

Hes been great so far. Alot of credit goes to the Boston d-men aswell they been great at catching loose pucks and isnt allowing alot of pucks to go throw the slot either.
As for the Conn Smythe i dont think he will get it if they loose.
In game 2 he shouldnt have let that goal in and he had some weak games against tbl.

But if he Boston do win, id definitly see him as the favourite.

Me three. Got to thinking of that last night. Can't think of any other player who's had a more profound impact on the ebb and flow of the series.

Win or Lose, Thomas should get the Conn Smythe. I suppose if they "have" to give it to the Canucks, they'd have to give it to Gillis for his elite math skills and his art in whining.

Thomas deserves the Vezina for sure. He's allowed 6 goals in 5 games, and hasn't let his team be down by more than a goal.

It would be shocking to see a team that has so far, scored 6 goals this stanley cup final, win it all.

Which to me suggests Boston will have no one to blame but themselves if they lose. That impotent powerplay could be their downfall, and frankly, if it was even marginally better this series could be over already.

Thomas makes the most sense - for either team - for the Conn Smythe. It's not meant to be an attack on the Canucks, but I just can't think of one guy from their team who has really risen head and shoulders above the rest.

And if he wins it, he'll become just the 6th Non-Canadian awarded the Conn Smythe.

He's gotta be the front runner at this point. A lot can happen between now and Garys' stroll down the red carpet, mind you.

When I read this i thought back to Roloson's glove save off Cheechoo in overtime in the 06 run.
