I cant help but notice the lack of excitment and electricity for a championship win. I mean I know it was on the road but the players just dont seem to get as excited as NHL players do who win the cup.

Yea, same thing I thought too. I don't follow basketball much, but what kind of celebration was that?
Apparently, there was a shot of Bosh collapsing from crying. Did anyone see it? I need a gif of that. I will revel in it forever.
Yep I saw it. It was in the hall on the way to the dressing room. There were people in the way but you could see him fall to his knees with hand on face then walking with hand on face with someone helping him along. PWNED.
It was really one of those moments as a fan you live for, to watch David slay Golaith. The way the Mavs kept applying pressure from the second quarter on, and at the end they broke Miami mentally and shredded their defense wow. For all the Bosh haters you cant take away from the fact he played well, it was LeBron who showed up unbelievable small.
Yea Dirk was in the dressing room like 2 secs after the final buzzer
He went to the dressing room because of complete shock and being overcome with emotion. Different people handle extreme happiness in different ways. Some scream (like Kevin Garnett "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!"), some cry (like the famous shot of Jordan hugging the trophy in tears), some go into shock, some just smile from ear to ear. I agree that celebrations are more passionate in hockey with the throwing of equipment and the pileup that is created. But I don't for a second doubt Nowitzki's passion or appreciation of the title. He just was so overcome with emotion, he went to the locker room for a little bit because that's his way of dealing with it. All of those guys on the Mavs: Dirk, Kidd, Terry, Marion, Chandler, have paid their dues and finally after all these years get that title. I don't for a second doubt their passion and happiness over this title, I'm glad they finally got it.
I can get some of the reasoning, but it still looks odd to see a guy just walk out right after they won such a huge game. Even if you're overwhelmed at least try to stay there with the team as those who can jump around with joy do so.
But anyways good on the Mavs. I'm sure plenty were cheering them on to take Miami down.
I understand he's crazy rich and that's nice and all but #### does this guy love himself a little too much. He'll also wake up the nba finalist that chocked and doesn't have a ring. God I hope they never win while him and Bosh are there.
