Meh whatever I only did a quick glance at the last few years.

Either way he is like the same player as juice dont know why we need him or why we would trade the 8th for him.

if he only plays half the season (as his trend lately), he's not gonna be an upgrade over juice (who is typically healthy)...

end game...do not want

Hardly, he doesn't make us a better team is my point.

Precisely. Frankly, I'd prefer to grab him as a free agent.

(yes, yes, I know, it's hardly guaranteed, cost may go up, blah blah blah... but, hey, we've been on the receiving end of "we'll just sign your guy once he becomes a UFA" enough times that it's nice to be on the giving end now and again. )

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!

You said Huselius has better numbers. He doesn't. That is all I have said.

Hemsky. I like him, but at this point, it's kind of like putting jelly on a turd sandwich.
I've got a feeling he'd end up making as much of an impact as Modin did.

Trade deadline I liked the idea of Hemsky. This off-season not so much. We need a 1st line center not a 1st line winger.

I think Howson is thinking both.

It will be good when people are going to end with the trade our first pick or similar for Hemský. We want PO an Hemský does not mean PO. Besides Jackets are not spa for always injury players. Let end with dumpy dreams.

Besides Howson saud he wants to support defense.

At the right price, I'd take Hemsky in a heartbeat.

Broken record time: I'd rather have him scoring for us than against us, but the injuries are scary.

If he is the lineup, we would be a better team. Especially if he's motivated.

If Howson wants to take a flyer out on him for a year and see if he's worth for a new contract, I have no issue with it. Edmonton will probably want quite a bit for him, I wish them luck with that one.

This place is interestesting for it's reponses. In the lineup he's probably a better value than Heatley. He's not a goal scorer which limits his salary, meaning his next contract should be well below Nash. We're probably not going to get the exact players we want on the trade front, they are probably going to be scratch and dents. On the FA side we are probably going to get the second tier players (or lower) for a lot more money.

His prod numbers are top line, if not quite elite.

He's a wing, so we need him less. But we still need a top six winger.

There are pro's and con's to this. As I said, he's hardly my first choice. But to say we aren't a better team with him is false.

If it's something like Huselius+2nd+Goloubef AFTER we get that center. Our top 6 would be great. We wouldn't really have any bargaining chips to trade with after that for the defense though, and would have to go through free agency.

That would really be terrible. Stay far away from EDM, Howson.

It's better than Stralman in there. It's pretty much the same group as last year.
