You will win. Just cherish the moment.

I think one of the things that is most exciting for me, is the idea that in 24 hours from now, there could be a player on this Bruins team known as the guy who scored the game winning goal in game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

A chance for immortality.

The best part of game 7 is not having to deal with Canucks "fans" anymore. About ready to go postal on some of those clowns.

Anyone see Conan showing his support for the Bruins tonight? Even pulled out an Anton Khudobin reference.

I have to say that on the eve of possibly realizing my childhood dream of seeing the Bruins win the cup, I am still in a bit of a state of shock. I keep having to remind myself that if they win tomorrow, they win, period. This has been a strange year and a strange series, and it seems like not ~2 months, but 2 years ago that they beat the Habs.

I am proud of this team and I am especially happy for Thomas. Plus seeing Horton, Krejci, Seids, and Marchand step up this playoff gives me hope for more success in the future.

Now, one. more. win.

Conan said he's pumped about tomorrow's game, and is rooting for his hometown Bruins. Andy then called him out on it, saying he's never heard about him talk about hockey before. Andy then asked him who the coach was, name a forward, the goalie, etc., and then asked who the Assistant Equipment Manager was, and then ridiculous ones like Vice-President of Corporate Partnerships. Eventually Conan got one wrong, and was labeled as a "Phony A-hole". Jeff Garlin was the guest, and was laughing hysterically the entire time, made the whole segment even better.

"The Bruins are a team whose sum is greater than the individual parts," says the team's psychologist.

About to go to bed (Yea... I'm a night owl). It just hit me, when I go to sleep tommorrow the bruins will be Champions. Or I'll probally cry myself to sleep.

What a ride it has been, all year has been awsome.

Lets Go BRUINS!

The only way I'm shedding a tear is if the Bruins win the game. This has been such a great season with hopefully many more like this to come.

Having said that they better win. I think losing in game 6 would be easier to take then losing a game 7 when you're just 1 win away from it all.

ONE. TIME.

ONE. GAME.

ONE. TROPHY.

ONE HEART. ONE. TEAM. ONE. GOAL.

BELIEVE IN BOSTON

As I sit here, not able to fall asleep, I just want to say what a ride. We're almost there everyone. Almost there to the thing we've been dreaming and hoping about for many years. A chance to win it all. We can do this. I know we can. The boys will play their heart out. And I hope we can pull it off. 16 hours til destiny. I for one, cannot wait.

Until the game, I will be forever like this.

Lets go!

Put this in the game thread and it promptly got closed. Hoping to generate some discussion on things to be done and things to be avoided, especially in their barn.

My five keys for winning game 7: I'm sticking with what I said going into game 6, which they did to a tee except during that slow start at the beginning of the third...

1. First goal
2. Second goal
3. Continue to hound & pound the Sedin's.
4. FORECHECK! Seemed to me that they didn't do this [during game5] with the same intensity they had in 3 & 4. Make them look over their shoulders anytime they go back for the puck; force bad, rushed decisions when trying to get the puck out of their own end.
5. Punish any Canuck who set up in front of the net, and do so with as much malice as possible while staying out of the box.

I'm about to get out of work. I hope to god I can get some sleep when I get home. Ugh.

Sorry, didn't mean to close it on you but I wanted people to focus on the GDT.

I think point number 4 (forecheck) is going to be the key. I saw a lot of Canucks in game 6 misplaying the puck due to the pressure that the Bruins were putting on. Even saw a few Lucic hits on the forecheck too. I hope he keeps that up.

If they keep the Canucks second guessing themselves on where to play the puck, the Bruins will get their chances.
