Also, fair warning to all, I am changing the points value of Saves from .25 to .10 after the draft is done. I know that's slightly unfair to those of you who have already drafted goalies, but that point value is way too high as is.
hmm. really, should have all this stuff set before the draft starts. I doubt it would of changed my pick, but if you see .25 and think "hey goalies will have lots of points" and then change it after, it could effect someones strategy.

I understand and appreciate that. Like I said, it's slightly unfair but it's something that had to be changed.
This is my first time ever being commissioner and we had to get the draft going ASAP which is why some changes are being made on the fly. Rest assured that I won't be making any changes of that sort anymore though. Also rest assured that goalies still count for a lot of points.
Only things I can see myself changing in the future are all draft related and it's all stuff that will only change if the draft takes too long in it's current format.
Also, as a note to the whole league, this draft would go MUCH, much faster if we all used the draft queue and set it to automatically draft for us. For instance, I currently have six players in my queue and my queue set to automatically draft for me when it's my turn.
If everyone did that then we wouldn't have to wait half as much as we currently do.
This is an option I highly encourage everyone to use if we want to move this along faster.

The goalie scoring change is actually not going to have much effect, imo, since every damned person has taken goalies already. I don't think anybody has gotten an advantage from it yet...no skaters have been stolen because people thought goalies were gonna be huge.

I drafted two goalies (including one heading to the KHL), then saw the change. Oh, well. Just another day of being a Flyers fan.
They way I see it, the people who picked superstars need to pick a goalie now to avoid being left with garbage in goal. That leaves good skaters for the people who already have goalies they otherwise might not have gotten.
Jesus Christmas, there aren't going to be any damned goalies left by the time i get to pick again, unless I want to roll with mathieu garon and Devan dubnyk.
