Dude if another elite player is traded today, this is too much man, I just can't take it.

Except, of course, when he's matched up against The Truck.

Looks like he's a San Jose Sharks insider.

Pavelski to Rangers like I proposed?

I can see the Flyers developing him similar to what they did with Claude Giroux, he got 1st line AHL minutes until he dominated and got a call up with the big club playing 3rd line sheltered minutes. Giroux was showing consistent signs of improvement and got awarded with a nice playoff run with more ice time. I fully expect Schenn to follow the same career path and he'll have a decent AHL year next season following a good rookie year of 30-40 points. Not Mike Richards worthy in the near-future, but I think it could be 2-3 years from now.

Also Flyers are probably in the Brad Richards sweepstakes since both Pronger and Richards share the same player agent IIRC. I think he'll end up in Philly and he's much better than Carter or Mike Richards.
CapGeek says no.

Sportsnet is saying Versteeg is the next player to be dealt out of Philly. Free's up another $3 million or so if they don't take any salary back.

Talk about some major moves. Has a team ever pulled off 4 pretty major moves in one day before (Not including the trade deadline of coarse)?

When you get a text from some one who tells you" so and so is the closest beat writer and is about to break news" you get intrigued, oh well nothing important

That is within the rules. It only takes him to age 40. If they had gone beyond that, any extra years would not have counted toward his current cap hit.

The last years are all over 1 mil. If any years had been less than 1 mil, they would have counted as if they were 1 mil. And it adheres to the 100% rule.

They made the rule change, but it's obviously still possible to work the system.

I thought no year could be less than half of the previous year or did they change that?

Schenn is going to be a superstar in this league. That kid is the "real-deal". I would rather have Mike Richards in the division than Brayden Schenn over the course of the next 10 years.....
