Retired Jerseys

With the presumed move of the Atlanta Thrashers to Winnipeg it has me wondering about retired jerseys. On Feb 19, 1989 and May 6, 1995 the Winnipeg Jets retired the jerseys of Bobby Hull (Number 9) and Thomas Steen (Number 25). Following his death in 2003, the Atlanta Thrashers took Dan Snyder's (Number 37) jersey out of circulation. As the team is not the original Winnipeg franchise I was wondering if the will continue to honor both Hull and Steen. I was also wondering if Winnipeg would continue to honor Snyder who played for their new franchise but in another city. Following that my question is are their any other players from either the Jets or Thrashers franchises that should be honored? Such as Hawerchuk, Selanne, etc.
