I love those banners.

It was fun to see folks at the meeting.

Timmy wore shorts...the rest suit jackets. Good for Timmy.

So I guess Garden employees got their pictures with the Cup tonight. A concession stand worker comes into my work all the time. Joke he's my "husband".

So he took me and 2 friends over. We got our picture taken with it and KISSED it.

Scratch another off the bucket list!

That was from my phone. I'll have pics up from my actual camera later or tomorrow.

I think it means we technically kissed about a million people if not more.

That's so funny we were at the opposite corners. Gotta cover all the angles I was in Patrice's line of sight all night.

He's just adorable.

Did he look thin to you?

Maybe a little more slender. I'm about to upload the pics.

I love how Timmy missed the memo on the dress code. But he won the Vezina, Conn Smythe and Cup... he could have worn pajamas.

I really like the new banners, what a great idea. I was actually wondering how the 2011 banner would look with the updated logo (or if they'd even use the old one), seemed like it would be out of place.

I guess the B's time with the Cup is officially done. It's going to referees' training camp today in Thornbury, ON:

I was on the far left - looks like you were a bit to my right.

I greatly enjoyed the applause for Julien, and when he pointed out that he's from Ontario, not Quebec, and that despite being French-Canadian, he feels a lot more comfortable in Boston than he ever did in Montreal.

Someone (Jacobs or Chiarelli or Neely - can't remember who) said they only get it for 100 days. That's what makes the Cup so special. It's not like the other trophies that sit in a case. There's only one Cup (well the replica too).

They'll get their rings a few days before opening night. Really can't wait to see what they look like.

Any word if Hnidy and Kampfer are getting their names on it? I hadn't seen any updates in recent days, but I think a decision was to be made later this week.

Did anyone go to the "Stanley Cup Exclusive photo oppurtunity". All I got after the picture was taken was a website to download your photo:
www.bostonbruins.photoshelter.com but when I enter it in the page doesn't exist!! Was wondering if anyone else has run into this problem and can give me some advice!

Stanley Cup winning team members and officials are awarded a day with the trophy and Bruins Vice President of Finance Jim Bednarek chose Cornish, a release said. The Stanley Cup will be on display at Krista's Restaurant.

Bendarek is a regular customer of the restaurant. The Stanley Cup will have a public and private display on Sept. 28, the release said.

Krista's Restaurant will hold an outdoor celebration and barbecue from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for everyone who wants to see the cup. It will be marched through the crowd on a few occasions, the release said.

A player has to appear in either 41 regular-season games or in the Cup FINALS, not the playoffs. Hnidy played vs. the Flyers when McQuaid was hurt. Exemptions can be requested for injury/extenuating circumstances, as in Savard's case (and Vladimir Konstantinov's).

ya, i didn’t realize hnidy only played in 3 regular season games this year, thought it was a bit more than that but under 41

just when I thought I was out... the Cup resurfaces:

Stanley Cup To Visit Cape Cod Today

Quote:
The Flying Bridge in Falmouth will host the Cup this Thursday, and you can go there to check it out anytime after 3:30 PM. I'm not sure how long Stanley will be at the tavern, but hockey folks tend to party down. It could very easily close the place.
