Henrik was battling an injury (which lots of players do but still perform) so that means Daniels game goes to hell too?

Yup.

And Henrik then got 10 min misconduct for complaining.

You won't get value for them because their value is too large and they need to be moved in a package.

That is like saying Detroit needs to trader Zetterberg and Datsyuk to the same team. You wouldn't get the same production back in return...

Sedin's are good players for putting up points, but I question their heart and intensity when the going gets tough.

That being said, I'm sure most GM's would love to have them.

Until they prove themselves, I'd personally have Zetterberg/Datsyuk combo that Detroit has than the Sedins. Overall a disappointing showing for them, especially in the finals.

They could be injured, who knows...but we all know Datsyuk was injured against the Sharks, that didn't stop him by much...he was scary good.

The first trade the OP mentioned, no one in there right mind would trade the Sedins for those three...but if someone gave me a choice between the Sedins and Z/D, I'd take them.

the players you mentioned are a good example.

All of these Players have proven their worth in Clutch situations more than once. The Sedins have never shown anything in Clutch situations. The bigger the stage the worse they play

Henrik has half his pinky amputated so he could come back faster from a finger injury, yet the guy has no passion for hockey?

These guys just don't have the stones to excel in the playoffs. Injuries are a terrible excuse when everyone else is battling them as well. They just didn't come through. Again.

Canucks become like Preds, a team with little offence and stacked on D with two good goalies.

Preds become more like Canucks with balanced O and D with good goalie.

But Canucks beat Nashville in the playoffs...so I'll just take Sedins and Luo

If Vancouver replaces the Sedins, they will need some more toughness.

Therefore, I think the perfect replacement would be the Bella Sisters from the wwe. Way better looking, Brie has a nasty streak, and they would both be far more successful as one can be the goalscorer while the other one could be distracting the goaltender by rubbing her breasts in his face.

Sedins were no shows in the Olympics aswell.
You're certainly not worthy of your avatar if you haven't seen the 2006 Olympic Gold Medals hanging around thier necks

I think he was referring to the 2010 olympics, and to be fair the 2006 swedish team was pretty stacked with a younger sundin, alfredsson, lidstrom, and Forsberg.

Half his pinky? Forsberg played through a ruptured spleen and puked blood - and still wanted to continue playing. The doctors stopped him and he needed immediate surgery. Don't talk about a pinky...

The Sedins had very little part in the 2006 Olympic gold medal.

Very little.

The Sedin's stats with a chance to close out a series.

Henrik - GP 9, G 1, A 4, +/- -15
Daniel - GP 9, G 3, A 3, +/- -13

Over the course of the playoffs their P/G% dropped to 0.88 (Henrik) and 0.80 (Daniel) from 1.15 and 1.27 in the regular season.

The evidence is pretty clear.
How do the Sedins compare to other stars in recent SCF:

Sedins this year
-D. Sedin 7GP, 1G, 3A, -5
-H. Sedin 7GP, 1G, 0A, -7

Toews and Crosby when their teams won
-Toews 7GP, 0G, 3A, -5
-Crosby 7GP, 1G, 2A, -3

Mike Richards and Jeff Carter in last year's loss
-M. Richards 7GP, 2G, 1A, -7
-Carter 7GP, 1G, 1A, -6

I guess the Canucks could probably get any of those guys for Mason Raymond, Manny Malholtra, Maxim Lapierre, and a 1st right?

Crosby and Toews
proven in Clutch situations

Sedins
as bigger the stage gets, the worse they play

I can't believe this discussion is even being had, sure they struggled at times throughout the playoffs, but they were up against what probably are the 3 best defensive pairings in hockey (Keith-Seabs, Weber-Suter, Chara-Seids)

The Nucks were one win from taking home the cup, yes ONE win, there ain't going to be any firesales, it's lock and load time for Vancouver, we have a 2-4 year window here and we're going to be taking advantage of it.

Yeah toews was so good this year. Garbage player backed his team in to the playoffs. Then takes him until the dying minutes of game 7 to get his first goal.

Crosby? Amazing player a true legend. Don't put Crosby's name to that piece of garbage named Toews

I don't really like toews, but r u kidding me? Sure Toews took 7 games to get his first point, but he pretty much shut down kesler during the entire series. To call him garbage is just being ignorant.
