The Bruins' radio guy said "Get the duck boats ready! Get the duck boats ready! After 39 long years, the Cup is back home! The Bruins are 2011 Stanley Cup champions!"
What would Rick say? Or, put another way, what does Rick say in your mind when you day dream about the moment?
I've had this stuck in my head for a while: "10 seconds left! Ohhh, you've been waiting your whole life to hear me say it, and I've been waiting my whole life too! 3, 2, 1... Holy mackerel, the Buffalo Sabres win the Stanley Cup! The Buffalo Sabres win the Stanley Cup! The Buffalo Sabres win the Stanley Cup!"
Overtime winner for the Sabres to clinch -- all bets are off.
They play RJ's goal calls in the Arena now after the Sabres score - they'll probably do the same thing when they win it.
Yea, i'm aware of that. But do you really think anyone will hear his call after the goal is scored the crowd will be insanely loud for 15-20 minutes! Maybe if they replay it after the cup is presented, then maybe we can hear RJ. Of course this is assuming the cup is won at home.
