Year by year pp stats.

05-06: Crosby 47pts
06-07: Crosby 61pts, Malkin 40pts
07-08: Crosby 27pts(53gms), Malkin 40pts
08-09: Crosby 40pts, Malkin 41pts
09-10: Crosby 34pts, Malkin 28pts (62gms)
10-11: Crosby 19pts (41gms), Malkin 14pts (43gms)
Don't even bother. He will probably ignore all of these facts anyway.

Yep - agreed 100%. Our powerplay NEEDS to get much better - it's an important part of winning big games. If our PP was clicking even at a 5% clip, we would have beat Tampa.

If the PK didn't suck, the Pens would have beaten Tampa as well. Going from the best in the league to the 2nd worst PK in the playoffs is a pretty significant drop that people are forgetting about.

It's all Cookie's fault.

Picturing him saying that is just too much for me to handle at the moment I miss Geno

I'm still trying to figure out why Dupuis said "**** you Geno" in 24/7, when he greeted everyone, lol. There has to be a funny story behind that. Maybe it was explained and I missed it.

I think people really underestimate the effects of Geno's nagging injuries the last few seasons.

Hopefully, he's in full on beast mode, and we'll be getting trade proposals for Sidney Crosby by early November at the latest.

I'd like him to make a statement next season. There is no other player that can dominate a game like he can.

Just reading all this is giving me high hopes for next season. Hoping for full recoveries, plus months of rest for both of our superstars could lead to huge years for both.

If Sid was playing on a powerplay that had a plan and the right personnel he would be the best powerplay player in the league, like he was when he was 19 in 06-07.

The powerplay the Pens have had the past few years has been disgusting.

Whats a POWERPLAY?

Question about Geno, before he blew out his knee, his other knee was giving him problems. Did he get that one fixed also.

Mario touched it way before Sid ever did. It's a ridiculous superstition, and you'll be hard pressed to find someone as superstitious as me. It's not THE trophy you want, but it's still a team accomplishment. Touch the damn thing and be proud that your team won it.

He only had one as one of the ligaments was not as badly damaged as originally thought. Unless I'm missing something.

It appears on the photo there were three cuts. Are they normally part of the same procedure?

They thought they were going to have to do multiple, but when they went in they found out otherwise. Hence why his rehab didn't take as long as the original approximation

Your acl is in the middle of your knee...most times they completely open the knee up. There are also several incisions based on the procedure the doctor and patient choose. Each of which results in different incisions

Jesus u aren't kidding. Wtf I was expecting a more built malkin when everyone was talkin about how hard he was training not lighter. Guy was plenty fast already I thought alil more size would help him in physicality and the pounding of the grind in general.

I don't know if Malkin will ever be 'built'. It just might not be in his genetics. I remember a scrawny Malkin who looks like he had no muscle on his upper body doing pretty well. I have faith that he really has been rehabbing hard.
