Those last two years worth of numbers on the powerplay from the team's best two players are brutal. Injury-shortened or not. I know it isn't the most important thing to a lot of people (though you could fool me, based on the griping throughout the season from all of us) but even a halfway competently run powerplay would go a long way towards padding both of their stats.
Yep - agreed 100%. Our powerplay NEEDS to get much better - it's an important part of winning big games. If our PP was clicking even at a 5% clip, we would have beat Tampa.
And to someones comment about let the caps win the presidents trophy because its jynx'd, well remember that touching the Prince of Wales Trophy was often thought of as a Jynx until Sid did it.
Mario touched it way before Sid ever did. It's a ridiculous superstition, and you'll be hard pressed to find someone as superstitious as me. It's not THE trophy you want, but it's still a team accomplishment. Touch the damn thing and be proud that your team won it.
Your acl is in the middle of your knee...most times they completely open the knee up. There are also several incisions based on the procedure the doctor and patient choose. Each of which results in different incisions
Jesus u aren't kidding. Wtf I was expecting a more built malkin when everyone was talkin about how hard he was training not lighter. Guy was plenty fast already I thought alil more size would help him in physicality and the pounding of the grind in general.
I don't know if Malkin will ever be 'built'. It just might not be in his genetics. I remember a scrawny Malkin who looks like he had no muscle on his upper body doing pretty well. I have faith that he really has been rehabbing hard.
