Even though Samuelsson has played for the NTDP for a couple years I still see him playing for Sweden in his future.
First, Samuelsson has lived his entire life in the US. People saying he's "going back" are mistaken. He would visit Sweden during the summer but this is the first time he'll be playing there.
Second, Samuelsson played for the US at this past U18 wjc's. The only way the IIHF will let him play for Sweden is if he spends four years there and doesn't represent the US in any tournaments during that time. So basically, there's no way he'll be playing for Sweden.

Thanks for the insight. Do you know why he's going to the Sweden? Is it to play a tougher competition against men in the SEL?

His father got the head coaching job with MODO. Henrik is going because he didn't want to be playing so far away from his family.
Given the flexibility European leagues have with regards to their players participating in international tournaments, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Henrik join the NTDP U18 squad when they make their trips to Europe.

No way does Dillon Fournier goes as late as 92 in the draft. He should go in the second round, probably the 35-50 range in my opinion. This guy should have a big season on the blueline in Baie-Comeau.
Relax. Way too long to go to be busting chops. You need to have seen the other players in any event. Who knows who has seen these players or not

19 pts in 37 games, it's not so bad when you think that he was on a weak team, I know his defensive play is not the best and all ofthese thing but it's only premliminary so we'll see when the season start beacause I'm sure that some europeen will get higher like Filip Forsberg or Olli Maatta or some others that will have a great year that will maybe get in the Top 15 and that some will loose points and will fall out of the top 30...Luca Ciampini is still a good prospect maybe it was just a bad year, so if he can't take over he'll surely get lower in this ranking...

I was actually talking to him on twitter, seems like a nice guy.
Telling me that he's putting in a lot of work for next season to prove himself.

That's nice to hear about, hope that he'll be more consistent next year and that he'll put up more than a point per game r so that he can prove everyone that he's still a 1st round pick potencial..
Montreal picks: Martin Frk in 2012 and Nathan MacKinnon in 2013
No seriously, I've reviewed Frk's performance at the WJCs and he was really effective. I don't think his draft ranking is going down but next year, he should benefit by playing alongside Nathan MacKinnon on a stacked and young Halifax squad. Remember, this kid has so much offensive upside but plays the game with a edge..ask Gudbranson.

A.J. Michaelson is listed as Apple Valley HS, but will be spending this season with Waterloo in the USHL, then heading to Portland in the WHL the following season.

When did he back out of his Gopher commitment? This is the first time I've heard of this....to bad if true.
