All the losers talking smack about Vancouver should shut up. If you didn't go to game 7 or are from Van you have no opinion.
People were amazing, I was at the Center Ice Bar inside Rogers Arena on the top level for 3 hours as the ONLY Bruins fan in the bar and I didn't hear a single snide comment, people bought me shots and talked hockey. Amazing fans and the best in hockey and I will be rooting for them in the finals against any other East team.
Riots would have been worse in Toronto=FACT
Riots would have been worse in Montreal=FACT
Canucks have the best fans in hockey inspite of the rioting idiots=FACT
If you weren't at game 7 you don't deserve an opinion and should shut up. Inside the arena 200+ people congratulated me on us winning the cup. Pure class from the real fans of Vancouver.
My Dad claims that the police haven't made one formal charge to the people involved in the riots. Is this completely untrue? I haven't been following this very closely since June.

If the Vancouver police are trying to insure that there will be a giant riot the next time the Canucks make it to the cup finals, they are going about it the right way by giving the general populace the perception that burning/looting/smashing/destroying the downtown core is an act that can happen with impunity and without fear of legal ramifications.
Sure, they'll EVENTUALLY get around to charging some people, but it seems to me that this massive delay is whats going to be remembered in the public consciousness.
