Of Dubi, Cally, Boyle, Sauer, and Anisimov, how many of them are locked up before July 1?

I voted 1, but could easily be none, as Sather has a poor track record of getting guys signed before July 1st.

Went with 0. Sather never seems rushed to re-sign his RFAs.

Keep in mind for a frame of reference that Dubinsky wasn't signed until training camp last time, and Callahan signed on July 13th. Even Lundqvist's 1 year $4.25m contract (the one signed before his current deal) wasn't signed until July 11th.

Tops 2 of them but realistically none..I think its Richards first then after Richards he'll play hardball with the likes of Sauer, Boyle, and maybe even Anisimov..I'm sure he's already in the ballpark of what Captain Cally and Dubi want so if there are two that get done before July 1st its those two..

Zero.

Whats the rush? It is a long offseason. Especially if we are going to hold out one of our RFA's to fit Richards in before we put Drury on LTIR.

I'll bet Arty is the first one to sign.

2, I could see the cheaper RFAs like Sauer, Anisimov, or Boyle signing early. Guys like Callahan and Dubinsky may take a while.

Probably none, if any I'd have to guess Sauer.

if leslie was right and Anisimov as well as Sauer are not arb eligible, I'm going to go with 2. I'll say Ansimov on a 2 year 1.8 per, and Sauer on a Danny G type contract 2 year 1.2 per

i think the rangers will focus on the draft and any UFA's and then worry about RFA's.

It is just not Sather's style to have them locked up before the big fish in unrestricted free agency fly. I say none.

None, and the big contacts are going to have to wait in order to abuse Drury being on the LTIR.

I say none. I hope they are all locked up before then but with redden and drury still on the summer cap I think as long as they feel there is no risk of losing them, slats will try to keep as much summer cap space free as possible

Hey guys. I was just curious if any of you are worried about the possibility of an offer sheet to one of your bigger RFAs? With the whole Drury thing and Redden counting against the cap for now as well as trying to sign Richards, there's obviously not a ton of wiggle room on that roster, financially. Are Dubinsky and Callahan arbitration-eligible, or does Sather have to worry about other teams taking advantage of their cap woes and force him to give those guys more money than he'd like to?

Our cap situation isn't the problem that everyone seems to think it is. Both Dubi and Cally are arbitration eligible, and they will most likely elect arbitration if they don't have deals by July 5th. Cally elected arbitration on his last contract, but was signed before the hearing. If they don't elected arbitration, it's likely that the Rangers will elect arbitration for them on July 6th so that we can open another buyout period.

Once either the player or the team elects arbitration, the player cannot sign an offer sheet. That is why the devils elected arbitration for Parise.

In short, I'm not too worried about an offer sheet, though I'd still prefer to get them signed sooner rather than later.
