Any mention to anything resembling a cap hit?

Hope he will continue his progress, he was an absolute beast before his season ending injury.

Good deal. Hopefully he can continue his strong play before the injury. Always hate to see a young, promising player go down with a severe injury. Although the fact he's signed a new deal must be promising in that his injury is healing and he shouldn't be feeling many ill effects next season.

If he plays like he did before his injury, that's more than an amazing deal. Very happy.
(And that's funny how he's the one who announced the deal. )

Waiting on Dr. Recchi's confirmation.

Seriously though, happy to see him back. I think he's gonna be great.

Should he be lifting a pen so soon after such a bad injury? Has this been cleared with the appropriate medical authorities?

Steal for Montreal... someone better call 9-1-1

*******

I am sure if he played the full year, he could have gotten more, just hope he comes back safe and well.

No one can complain about that cap hit.
seems to be a real promising player, he will play like a 3.5-4mil player the next few years,.

Great numbers. #67 is going to be a beast next season season. He's back to full health and I think he'll hit the ground running right out of training camp. Closest thing the Habs have had to a power forward in a long time.

He was actually going to be cleared to play in Game 1 of Round 2 if the Habs won vs. the Bruins, so now that he has an additional 4 months to heal up, past health problems shouldn't be an issue.

It's a good thing Recchi retired, he can now focus on Patches and make him recover 100%.
