SanJoseSharks 12:34pm via TweetDeck Assistant Coach Trent Yawney is leaving the #Sharks to pursue a head coaching position.

BComptonNHL 1:05pm via Web If I had to guess where Trent Yawney is headed, I'd say Texas. Played with Joe Nieuwendyk in Calgary.

Let me be a buzz kill. There's no way this many good things can happen to the Sharks in one season. Incoming Thornton + Couture trade for Khabibulin and 1st.

Thank God! Good luck to Yawney in his search for an AHL job, I'm sure he'll find one if there are some openings.

So what happens now with the staff? Woodcroft promotion? A new guy for defense? Hitchcock?

And, assuming he can't get a head coaching deal, doesn't anyone know if Havi is still under contract with the Hawks? (Can't help myself, I want my boy here).

DW found a magic lamp. That's the only possible explanation. Or he sold his soul or something to some mythical creature.

Would have been nice if we could have landed back Richards to take Yawney's spot.

I think either would be a good move. Just wonder if Hitch would want to work as an assistant to Todd. Wow, if we can just get Huskins out then, we've had made some very good strides already this spring/summer.
