I love this. I'm always intrigued by the outside names that get brought in.

Can't believe it's that time of the year already. I'll definitely be intrigued to see how Schiestel looks out there after his injury.

Should be able to make it up to most of this if it's scheduled similarly to last year.

I'm stoked. It's gonna be fun talking prospect development with Bakes for a whole week again.

Hopefully our insiders are able to make it out a few days and give us all those very much appreciated player reviews.

I look forward to those the most, and thank the usual Macksayev's and Chain's and KB's of the world that share with us what they see. You have no idea what that does for me.

I'm planning on making a couple days of it. I'm "working from home" two of the days and probably will take a couple of half-days to make more of it.

I imagine they may up the quality of unsigned/undrafted invitees with the draw of the new ownership. UFA centers and guys with scoring talent should be called/calling (the usual OHL suspects list - Agozzino, Magnardi, Carnevale, Andreoff), goalies (Sadikov), or high-energy/pest types (say Shaw or perhaps DeSousa again). Odds are there will be some locals in attendance (Bradley if he doesn't get picked). It's always fun.

Unless I get a miracle I'm likely to miss the 5th, 6th and possibly 7th of camp :/ I really hate missing the start of camp the most... Anybody know when they'll announce the times that camp runs on the off hand that I will be able to make the ones on the weekdays?

Typically right after the draft, when they finalize their roster and slap it up on the website. An insider might help though.

MacofNiagara... paging MacofNiagara to walk over to Dwyer and ask....

I'm hopeful to make it to the Thursday and Friday camps. Gotta find a hotel for Thursday night...

I wonder if they'll allow me to sleep in the bottom of the Gallagher center, I am afterall a graduate/alumni!

...now that you all know what the nu stands for in front of my name

Hopefully I'll be able to make it to a couple days of this.
And now that the draft is done, we pretty much create an invite list:

LW:
Riley Boychuk
Marcus Foligno
Cédrick Henley
Jacob Legacé

C:
Luke Adam
Daniel Catenacci
Colin Jacobs
Brad Navin
Steven Shipley
Kevin Sundher

RW:
Joel Armia
Christian Isackson
Justin Jokinen
Zack Kassian
Gregg Sutch
Shawn Szydlowski
Corey Tropp

LD:
TJ Brennan
Nick Crawford
Marc-André Gragnani
Alex Lepkowski
Drew MacKenzie
Brayden McNabb
Dennis Persson
Drew Schiestel

RD:
Mark Adams
Alex Biega
Corey Fienhage
Jérôme Gauthier-Leduc
Matt MacKenzie
Mark Pysyk

G:
Jhonas Enroth?
Connor Knapp
Nathan Lieuwen
John Muse?

Probably still need a LW or two and another goalie if Enroth or Muse aren't attending.

Potential invitees from the scraps of the draft (organized by position, but in order of which they were on my list/I thought of them):
LW Barclay Goodrow (Brampton, OHL)
LW Dylan Wruck (Edmonton, WHL)
LW Scott Oke (Saint John, QMJHL)
LW Alex Saulnier (Moncton, QMJHL)
LW Anton Zlobin (Shawinigan, QMJHL)
LW Samuel Henley (Val-d'Or, QMJHL)
LW Marek Hrivik (Moncton, QMJHL)
LW Étienne Brodeur (Chicoutimi, QMJHL)
LW Todd Fiddler (Prince Albert, WHL)

C Brent Benson (Saskatoon, WHL)
C Andrej Stastny (Vancouver, WHL)
C Jean-François Leblanc (Val-d'Or, QMJHL)
C Luke Lockhart (Seattle, WHL)
C Colin Smith (Kamloops, WHL)
C Sahir Gill (Boston University, HE)
C Colten St. Clair (Fargo, USHL)
C Michael Kirkpatrick (Saint John, QMJHL)
C Ben Duffy (PEI, QMJHL)
C Tomas Filippi (Baie-Comeau, QMJHL)
C Colin Behenna (Barrie, OHL)
C Taylor Carnevale (Sarnia, OHL)

RW Steven Beyers (Barrie, OHL)
RW Allain Saulnier (Moncton, QMJHL)
RW Maximilien Le Sieur (Shawinigan, QMJHL)
RW Guillaume Asselin (Chicoutimi, QMJHL)
RW Zach O'Brien (Acadie-Bathurst, QMJHL)
RW Robby Mignardi (Owen Sound, OHL)

D Jesse Forsberg (Prince George, WHL)
D Joakim Ryan (Dubuque, USHL)
D Mitch Topping (Victoria, WHL)
D Matt Petgrave (Owen Sound, OHL)
D Keevin Cutting (Owen Sound, OHL)
D Destry Straight (Coquitlam, BCHL)
D Sam Grist (Tri-City, WHL)
D Gabriel Bourret (Saint John, QMJHL)
D Alex Roach (Calgary, WHL)
D Garrett Clarke (Acadie-Bathurst, QMJHL)
D Nolan Zajac (Cedar Rapids, USHL)

G Matt McNeely (NTDP, USHL)
G Michael Houser (London, OHL)
G Liam Liston (Brandon, WHL)
G Matej Machovsky (Brampton, OHL)
G Tyson Teichmann (Belleville, OHL)
G Jared Coreau (Northern Michigan, CCHA)
G Michael Morrison (Kitchener, OHL)
G Ramis Sadikov (Erie, OHL)

It's pretty light on the NCAA/USHL side, so if someone has any candidates from there, mention them.

It's Boston University. Don't ever insult a Terrier by calling him a Eagle, it's just not right.

But I would love to see him brought in, he had a great Freshman year for us.

This is an excellent place to get autographs too for those who are interested. I pretty much got all the prospects autographs the past 2 years.

Never gone to these but it seems to be like a fun time. Maybe I'll try to make it out there. Wish it was at the arena or the Northtown center so it was closer.

That is correct. I wonder if someone like Sadikov is in the mix. Probably more of their collegiate guys like Knapp and Eidsness and an invitee.
