I don't dispute this. At all. Just thought I remembered some thinking he was going to be an offensive, skating kind of dman and I was trying to convince others otherwise. Maybe not

Hey, if he can come in, develop a Suter-like offensive game, works for me. Hell, I'd take Suter without the offense.

Foligno and Catennaci picking corners in zone entry drills.

Sundher looks like he's worked a lot on his skating since last year.

Between Sundher and Catenacci who looks like the faster skater?

Catenacci. In foot speed it might be close, but Sundher just doesn't have the same moves Cat can pull. At least from the drills I've seen today.

Haven't seen Catenacci open it up yet. Sundher looking good along the boards though.

Foligno and Sundher have been winning a lot of board battles through brute force in the 2 on 1s, you can see some chemistry there.

Pysyk got beat in the corner on his drill but made it back in front of the net in time to knock the puck off the camping forwards stick.

Lepkowski looks like a good skater for someone his size.

In the forechecking drills brennan looked awful. Worked over routinely. Sundher was very good. Fienhage solid along the boards. Foligno looks uninterested.

Though he did just stand up his man at the blueline.

I am just mesmerized by Catenacci's hands.

Lepkowski won the board battle though.

Foligno showing some surprising hands today. Though I agree his effort is a little hot and cold.

Tj is much better in open ice than on the wall it seems. Sundher and catenacci are the best offensive players on this side, though szydlowski has really impressed. Goodhands and o instincts

Agreed on all points. His partner (Didn't catch the name) was doing the heavy lifting in that last 2 on 2.

Sid has been better than I expected him to be. Fought the puck a little from time to time he's got skills for sure.

You can tell Lagace's been here before. Directing traffic in a few drills, ran the warmups, really stepping up in a leadership capacity.

Sundher continues to impress along the boards.

John McCarron just keeps on showing up. He's been noticeable in a real good way today.

from what i watched last year from brennan in portland, he was good in the corners . Suprised he lost a battle. He looks like he got bigger this year.

He's been pretty lackluster today. Forwards constantly getting to the net.

I think it's just his lack of intensity so far.

Guys do lose battles. Guys will make mistakes. It isn't about just one play, let's be clear about that. If he's losing a vast majority of confrontations, that's one thing. Then it's a question of how did he lose them (positioning, stick placement, strength, etc....).

Today it's been compete level. He's been caught flatfooted more than a few times.

But like you said it's just one day, and it's only been an hour.

Boychuks been fighting the puck but knows how to use his huge frame well in puck protection. Just made a nice move entering the zone. Good work.

He was one of their best last season during this event. It happens. I suspect he may be a little flat with the additions on the backend. He went from flirting with an NHL job to deeper down the depth chart.

I remember raving about him then too. One day won't make/sink a career.

I switch rinks and the first thing I see is Adam wreck some poor sap on the boards.
