Huge CFB fan my friend.

Duke is my team, gotta take the good (basketball) with the bad (lousy football program, no bowl game since 1994). Have idolized the school ever since my godmother did her Masters there and brought me back tonnes of Duke schwag.
Duke football improved a lot with Thadeus Lewis at QB! i kinda think there going to gradually keep improving!

Notre Dame is loaded this year and i think they make it to a BCS Bowl this year, have you been to south bend to take in a game?

Lewis was a great QB, he really gained alot of recognition throughout the ACC during his time in Durham. By recognition, I mean most ACC fans went from saying "Duke is terrible" to "Duke is terrible, but their QB is pretty good".

Cutcliffe is running a really good program there, and he doesn't have alot of resources either. He basically has to scout out the best 3 star recruits in NC, TN, and GA, and mold them into guys who can compete with a bunch of 4 and 5 star guys. Hey, at least we're infraction free and manage to graduate most of our players .

Edmonton opens their season up at home against Pittsburgh on October 9th. So we won't be the only game on that day!

Yeah, I've been told. Apparently they're even crazier outdoors. Good thing because this show is at Shaw Park (Goldeyes).

Anyone catch the Canada-England FIFA U-17 game yesterday? Canadian goalie scored (first ever goal by a goalie in any FIFA tourney) in the 86th minute to tie the game and give Canada their first ever point in the U-17 tournament.

Can't hurt to dish out the honey.

Seriously Guerzy, I think you would be a good mod for this board along with jet228. Now who is dishing out the honey? lol

I like peanut butter and honey sandwiches too. I've actually never found anyone else who likes them for some reason. I think we'll get along famously!

Last saw the Hip at Maple Leaf Gardens in Dec. of '96 (Yes, I feel old. ) Saw Gord doing a solo show locally at Thursday at the Square and the Hip are playing another outdoor venue in WNY next week. And I don't have tickets.

Enjoy the show!

The site updates are causing some hassle. We're working it out (ok, Buff is working it out... more like the rest of us are standing around in the driveway looking contemplative at the guy doing the work on his car, offering to hand him a wrench or a beer). 'Tis nothing with this board in particular, just all of 'em in general.

I certainly will!

Hey, I fully and completely understand. I know that us Winnipeger's will stay un-rowdy and handle the changes within the forum with grace, too.

You Admins are surely a phantom power.

Okay. Enough Hip references for now.

I've got my Brother's in July some-time in Norwich. Only two tickets though so I'm going to have to fob off somewhere for a while. Proud of him though but I'm guessing it's similar in America to over here?

I suppose. It was basically a two hour service of remembering memories and songs.

Time to play Zelda, listen to Howlin' Wolf, and wait for the draft.

Quite a few unnecessary threads being created today. Oh well, people are excited.
