So... Toby Petersen is going to be running the PP point. And Larsen will be scratched.

I was really hoping Gulutzan was smarter than this. Guess not.

Jerrard told you Petersen ran the point back in Iowa 6 years ago? Great. Who gives a ****? This is the ****ing NHL.

Ahahahaha... Petersen running the point on the PP... at least he has a solid slapper.

Also I don't think some of the veterans have confidence in Larsen to run the PP. Which is honestly ********.

pretty disappointed that Larsens not playing. Petersen on the point seems silly. His offense is good at teh AHL level but in the NHL hes just not going to produce anything.

Larsen shouldn't be up here if he's not going to play, call up Fortunas or some **** if you just need a body.

I think this is more about practice time tbh. Gully doesn't seem to like to put players in who aren't "up to speed" with the system and had a few practices. I could see Larsen being in for both weekend games. Still seems you could do better than Peterson as a forward on the point. Hell give Wandell some PP time.

Anyways this is going to be a tough one we can't underestimate. The Panthers are off to a pretty good start and this is a classic trap game. We should win though if we work all 60 minutes. Gotta shut their top line down and stay out of the box (Campbell-Kulikov is a sick PP backend).

Go Stars!

Makes some what sense from Larsen sitting point...make absolutely no sense from a Petersen on the powerplay period point.

I agree about the practice time. I think it's a combo of not adjusted to playing with that unit and that line (Ribs&co) being hesistant to pass him the puck...

Whatever they've got Toby Petersen to save the day!

Not buying that at all. He's been playing Gulutzan's system for the past year, from the AHL to training camp to the first week of the season.

Gotta say as a Dane i'm pretty darn disappointed that Philip isn't getting his chance... All the Stars were aligned(Bum-dum-tsh):

- If any player were to get hurt for Larsen to become the obvious replacement it were Goligoski.
- He knows the coach and the system, should fit in perfectly.
- The Stars are not in any critical place where the teams playoff chances hangs in a thread
- He has had a good start with the Texas Stars so he's confidence in himself

And now he's a healthy scratch... Well that sucks

The Stars better win tonight...

Kari in net yeah? Then i'll jinx it and say a 4-3 OT win(Eriksson x 2, Fiddler, Daley)

Bit disapointed Larsen isn't in the lineup tonight but will have plenty of time to see him. Really want a win tonight!

I guarantee he'll play this weekend. They didn't bring him up just to sit in the press box.
