Calgary eventually managed to get their C of Red working. And Phoenix has continued the Whiteout, but it just seems odd when the home team wears a colour other than red. Do you think True North could lobby the NHL to allow them to wear white at home for playoff games?

The NHL would make darn good umpires if they couldn't see this one coming. I would think they would authorize it. Even little old grandmothers that don't watch hockey are aware of the whiteout.
I'd like to see them lobby to make a cool 3rd "whiteout" jersey for home games.
That could be an interesting loophole. A 3rd Jersey for home playoff games. In theory, 3rd jerseys can be any colour and used anywhere, providing the opponent agrees.
Phoenix failed utterly at the Whiteout! Winnipeg will reinstate the tradition if fiery ferocity! I hope the first game is a Whiteout, that would just add to the whole experience!
The 3rd Jersey concept is a good idea, it could just feature a lot of white on it!

I've attended playoff games in Winnipeg and in Phoenix. On what basis did Phoenix fail at the whiteout?

I have never been to a Phoenix game, never mind a playoff game, so I can't say if they failed at the Whiteout or not. However, the ratio of Detroit fans at the Yotes home playoff games this year was substantial!! The ratio of fans may have been in favor of the Wings.
Having lived in Calgary for a couple of years, and noticing that 99% of Flames fans wear red jerseys to the game, I could envision the MTS Centre having a whiteout every single game of the year, nevermind the playoffs. I think it would be pretty cool to sit with over 15,000 fans surrounded by a "sea of white."

Canucks and Jets fan, eh? Who will you be cheering for on 8 March 2012?
I'm sort of neutral on that one though, I'll be cheering for both teams this season...my first team being the Jets and my second team the Canucks. I've already adopted the Canucks as one of my teams since far ways back.
There will be tons of Jets fans at that game, its a good thing they won't be playing in the same division. lol.
I have an itching to go to the Calgary game though, fly there to see my folks and wear my Jets colours. A sea of Jets fans with a bunch of hee haws proclaiming their Canada's team since 2004
I wonder if they would re-release that CD or even come with a new one.
A portion ($$) of each CD sold went to Goals for Kids.
I would imagine the Jets would sponsor some sort of Charity and do the same thing.
No Justin Bieber recommendations allowed. Each group or singer on the original CD is from Manitoba and Bieber isn't. See, I just made One More Save and I'm not even a goalie.
