New York Rangers have small, talented group of prospects in NCAA and Europe

The New York Rangers had three prospects playing in the NCAA during the 2013-14 season, as well as three skating in Europe.

In addition, Adam Tambellini began the season in the NCAA, but left for the WHL mid-season. Brady Skjei, a defenseman, is the best collegiate prospect in the system and Pavel Buchnevich is the best in Europe. However, neither is expected to play professional hockey in North America next season.

Notre Dame is a an awful program for developing the offense of most players they have. He needs to leave their as soon as possible and go to the AHL.

Good write up. Skjei is going to be a solid D man for us and we can't have enough defensive D. But I think Buchnevich is going to be the best out of this crop in a few years. Flashy player with tons of potential.
