Good point, but I really won't be cheering for the Sens though. Last year I watched the Rangers play Boston near the end of the year at MSG...the atmosphere was awesome. Fantastic fans. C'mon, help a fellow hockey fan out.
It depends on your budget. First row in the 300s is still an absolutely fantastic view.
Don't get first row in the 300s, because you will have people walking in front of you all the time. 300s center around row E is the best, IMO. Tickets are going to be expensive, so just try anywhere in the 300s, except the corners.

I'm willing to go as high as $300 per ticket. Looks like I can get a couple of seats in the first row (A) of section 309 for around $250 or so.
I have tickets in the first row of section 112 for sale... Saturday game only. If you are interested send me a PM. Its about 7 rows off the glass right behind the goal the NYR attack twice.

Except the renovated sections behind the goals. With TV's
Thought there was a thread for Ranger bars, but couldn't find it. If there is, mods feel free to move this post.
Last night was meeting up with some former co-workers at Cory's Ale House in Wantagh. Railroad avenue, same street as Mulcahy's and Wantagh Inn. We got there at 7 and as I walked in, they probably had 30 people or so wearing Rangers jerseys or shirts and hats. Game was on every tv. Thought I would pass along for those who may live on the south shore of nassau county and wanted to go out to watch the game. Was a little pricey for LI, imo. I bought the first round, and 4 drinks (one SMithwicks, one stella, one absolut and tonic, one stoli o and tonic) and it was $25.
Where do the 18,000 fans park, when going to a rangers/knicks game, etc?
I'm just asking out of curiosity, since i've only visited new york once, and the only thing i recall about MSG is that penn station is located in the back side..

Parking garages are abundant all over the city. Expensive too. A lot of fans take the train to the game though, so it isn't all 18,000 fans. I'd think many more train it than drive.

Not all are driving, you must take into consideration public transportation.

oh ok, i was just curious. For example, I live in ottawa, and i think its safe to say that the majority of fans attending Sens games drive there, where there is thousands of parking spots available (large parking lot outside the stadium, $10 parking). I'm assuming that MSG itself doesn't have a parking lot, and that people have to fetch parking elsewhere nearby?

That's correct. I'd bet the vast majority of the fans (90%+) don't drive to the game.
Recommend me a good bar in NYC to watch Ranger game.
Preferably a bar that has the sound of the game on and not some blaring music. Haven't watched a Ranger game in a NYC bar in awhile. I remember Stout being pretty good, but thought I'd get some recommendations from you guys. Thanks!
