I like his attitude, but it's also a funny quote like some people plan on being on year wonders.

Who would intend to be a one-year wonder???

I get the point though, go Reimer! If he manages to pull it off he should be one of the least-hated players in the league, like Iginla. How could you hate this guy? (Unless you're a goal-scorer on the other team of course)

This kid's attitude is awesome. I agree, he's gonna be a really well-liked player around the League if he can play consistently well throughout his career. His smile is infectious, just like Iggy's and Timmy Thomas'

This will be the true test for Reimer this upcoming season. The starting position is pretty much his baring a setback in camp and somehow Gustavsson takes it from him.

This kid has something that not a lot of of our goalies since CUJO and Belfour had and that is the desire to compete.

I personally, don't think he will replicate the season he had last season, but I don't he will have a bad season either.

Reimer the most likable Maple Leafs player ever? Sure seems like it.

But we need to never hear "Reiminister of Defense" ever again. As if Joe Bowen wasn't already too painfully annoying, ugh.

Bower, Clancy and Sittler would be prime for the position. Let's see if Reimer can remain steady and he might just join them.

I suppose, if you've only spent a couple years watching them.

We'll find out starting in January 2012 if his first year was a 'one year wonder' or not

I think the biggest difference between him and most other guys that turn out to be flashes in the pan is his character. He genuinely will work as hard as he can this offseason even though he's been basically guaranteed the starting position. He takes nothing for granted and has one of the best work ethics I've heard of in a player his age. The future looks bright with him in net.

Burke is intending to use Reimer and Gus next year. He said he thinks Gustavsson has a lot to offer next year

He's been attending the church that I go to in Winnipeg (James' brother has gone there for a while now). Unfortunately I have not run into him yet but some of the guys from my church small group have told me they've seen him around. They know I'm a huge Leafs fan so they were kind of bugging me that I missed him.
